well, i am pretty sure they're checking for mh people and other hacks, but i doubt they are getting rid of g-mercs. if they were, it would be on every realm, not just east.
Rebellions_army- lol, the idea of blizzard being behind those d2 item sites makes me chuckle a bit. even funnier would be the idea that they make the bots that enter games and channels screaming, "do people make fun of you because of your gear? vist blah blah.com!"
anyways, this is pretty annoying seeing as i just came home from a week at my beach house, just finished packing stuff up for a week at a lacrosse camp (which i leave for tommorow), to spend an hour playing diablo to find this crap happening! Damn.

Ever since I first heard of those stupid sites I've always thought Blizz was behind it so that they could have a continuous source of income from this game. LoL...that would be quite hilarious.
