I've been around for a while, but even through patient observation, have yet to determine what it is to "Bump" a thread... Embarassed

Little help here. Wink

as people post more topics, older ones go towards the bottom of the first page, then onto the second page and so on. "bumping" bumps a post up to the top of the first page.

if you are wanting to know the definition of a bump in a trade thread. here it is.

me: i have this item to trade
you: i offer this for that item.
me: alright, deal.

that isnt a bump. this is actually replying to someone interestedin your item.

me: i have this item to trade
you: i offer this for that item.
me: i still have this item for trade.

or

me: i have this item to trade
me: i still have this item for trade.

those are bumps.
