HI, I was wondering what the best classic char for mfing is. I'm getting kinda bored of LOD and want to go back to classic for a bit of fun. I was thinking maybe a hammerdin or a sorc (dont know what kind). ne help would be great.

A WW MF/GF barb is the most popular choice because of the huge damage they deal, a large amount of life, and the ease of getting resistances through Natural Resistance.

Most Classic MF'ers run Meph, Trav, Fire Eye, and the Outer Steppes/Plains of Despair.

ive always heard that orb sorcs are really powerful on classic

no orb sorc's are just the most commonly made because there easiest..

if you make a sorc, dont make the mistake i made. make it a dual elemental sorc, fire/ice, fire/light, or light/ice. i made pure ice, and there are so many cold immunes in hell, its a pain.

apparently blizzard/meteor work well.

If u upgrade your classic ladder character to LOD it goes to non ladder yes? asin there shudnt be any classic gear on ladder?

Ring drop orders was disabled in .07 Ownage. That no longer works.

Converted Classic Ladder characters go to Expansion Ladder.

Make a ww'er for Mfing. My barb practically walks through hell at 40.

OK, sounds like a barb would do well. what mastery should i invest in and what other skills besides ww. I havent used a classic char in a long time so I dont know the skill placement. Is it just like LOD?

Could i get some more help plz?

id say either pole arm if you want to do huge damage, or sword if you are going to do a weapon/shield barb. there are alot of good rares out there (most dupes) for a barb, and they are mostly swords and polearms.

ok sweet, but is it spear or pole arm Confused

. and what would be beter for a dude with praticly nothing? sry if im asking newb questions. i think i might be with sword, but a little more help would be great.

just wait until you find either a great rare executioner, or a great rare lance. if you find the lance, make spear babr, if you find the exe make it a sword barb, you can imbue them or findi n cows etc
