Nooooooooo. At first he was holding himself up but he got tired and started to sweat, the water was his sweat and when he got too tired he fell down and killed himself..

they both make sense. he could have been standing on a block of ice ^^ or he could have sweated and let go, but i highly doubt anyone could sweat a puddle.

These are really just riddles, not "IQ tests". Here's one:

A farmer goes to the market to sell eggs. To his first customer he sells half his eggs, plus half an egg more.

To his second customer he sells half his remaining eggs, plus half an egg more.

To his third customer he sells half his remaining eggs, plus half an egg more.

At the end of the day the farmer has sold all of his eggs, and never broke an egg (which is to say he only sold whole eggs). How many eggs did he start the day with?

If you translate this into math and use simple algebra it simplifies to 7. I'll post my work if I can find an easy way to draw huge fractions.
