just saw it. and i think its probably tied with the very first original batman (with keaton) as the best batman out of the entire series.

but i got to thinking.

the guy looks an awful lot like keaton when he dresses up in the bat costume. hell, he even sounds like him. and at the end, he gets handed the "calling card". a joker.

so, who thinks there will be another pre-se-quel? set in a time after this one, but before keaton.

or do you think this is the only one, and its supposed to move smoothly straight into keatons era?

there will be more i think, the movie called batman begins so i think its suggesting its just begun, so there a middle and end somewhere. i know nothing about these things but i have a nack for being right^^

I just downloaded a copy. My eyes are still bleeding. I am not sure how good the movie is, but the file I downloaded had some problems. It was broken up into 7 parts of random and unconsistant size, the audio did not line up and made a *beep* sound every 20 seconds, the whole movie was the russian version with the english audio slapped on top, at least one of the 7 segmensts was just out-right russian, the video quality was very low, and the file was about twice as big as is normal. It was so horrid that I may actually pay for my entertainment from now on. I watched up to the point where he met the guy in the basement (?) of some building. He made hi-tech stuff. Or something. The version I had was hard to follow. Was that guy the janitor?

Good movie. I think it blended well and will transverse right from begins to the original. Don't know how they will end it. Maybe they need some more fake ice/plastic for a sixth

the "Begins" batmans are completely seperate from the other 4. infact at Comic con international the guys on the panel said this openly, they want nothing to do with the tim burton and other movies.

infact the crew who worked on "Begins" is already planning the sequel where he faces the joker..

remebr the inconsitancies? jack napier (aka joker) +friend who killed Bruce waynes parents in tim burtons first batman.. ....but in "begins" it was this poor guy...he was used as story leverage to articulate why bruces initial lust for revenge mixed with fear (and conquering of fear) eventually lead him to NOT slaughter criminals, instead, bringing them to justice.

BTW the story is based on Frank Millers work "batman; year1" and year2.. (and i guess it goes on alittle longer) Frank miller is the guy who made the Sin citycomic and ofcourse colaborated to make the movie



so the begins franchise will be a completely different take on;
modivation, themes, style and character...etc

aye its obviously not supposed to go into the keaton as if my memory serves me correctly, jack isnt actually the "joker" at the start of the first movie, and he is already at the end of begins... i guess... not sure what i was getting at there but yeah they arent connected
However, begins is a DAMN good movie, damn good.
