what are good stats specifics for a FB sorc?
including block speed/rate, dmg, life/mana, fhr, frw, dex/str, fcr?
i was reading the FB sorc info thread and it said something like,

1717-1928 fireball dmg

WOW!!!!!!!!!!

was this a joke? if so what is "good" dmg for lvl 30 LLD101 legit FB sorc

i think that dmg was suposed to be 1.7-1.9k
my fire ball sorc does like 2.7k not hell rushed. hell rush i get about 1k more damage. im not sure what good life/mana would be since i didnt actually take the time to put good charms on her. about 700life/mana right now. i dont hit the 105 fcr bp tho but i think that would help alot. i just dont have gear to hit that and have good damage at same time.

what gear you use to get 2.7k without hell rush? im at 2022-2227 and i cant figure out where to get more dmg. hitting the 105 fcr bp easily and closing in on 142 fhr bp

2 fire circlet, 2 fire amy, 2 fire orb lvl 4 meteor synergy, visc, sojs, viper, magefist its really only 2.669k dmg tho

I had 1.7K Dmg with LLD101 Ruled Fire Sorc with no 2/20fcr Helm and missing 1 SoJ

my hellrushed version does 2.8k-3.1k (yea..kinda crappy for a hellrushed guy, but her wep sucks), 820 life, 431 mana (way too low, u need to shoot a LOT higher if u wanna make a fire sorc). if u hellrush and have perfect equipment, then u can reach about 4k dmg.

my nonrushed version does about 2.2k dmg i think. not too shabby. but its a mana build, so its a lot more effective than the hellrushed one anyway Very Happy

15 lifers are so freaking expensive in bulk.... im just maxxing fhr Sad

hitting the unreal high breakpoint (7 frames i think? 142 BP) i only have like 300 life Sad

i die a lot to well built casters

u could try a mana build, and get eshield. mana builds are pretty interesting

Then again, mine's normal rushed and using a Spectral Shard, and missing an SoJ and is using a +1 sorceress skills circlet.

and standard equip

has about 800 life and 600 mana

I'm currently working on hitting the 60fhr and 700 mana point, while maintaining 700 life. Which i haven't done my life quests yet, so... i might be able to pull it off.

DDR - it's worth pointing out that ladder players will usually have less damage than non-ladder players, particularly casters. The reason for this can be summoned up in one word: Spirit.

Non-ladder players don't have access to many of the runewords we do, and so they use harder-to-find rares. Non-ladder fire sorcs usually use (as you're noticing here) rare orbs with +mastery, +fireball, and meteor charges. Having meteor charges is a [b]huge[b] synergy bonus for damage, and using this sort of weapon will always outshine a Spirit, which can only add +2 to skills, and grants no synergy bonus.

However...

Spirit is an incredible runeword, and it's use (I believe) matches or even possibly exceeds the value of these more powerful rare items. It grants us many useful benefits that non-ladder players have to make up for with additional gear. Up to 35% fcr, +mana, magic absorb, +vitality, 55% fhr - all these bonuses are lacking on one source for the non-ladder player, and they have to accomodate this with charms and other gear (of course, non-ladder players have usually been at it *much* longer than us ladder folk, so they have better charms and such than we do).

So just know that when you see stats posted on a given build, it may very well be a non-ladder dueler. Granted, a bit of play with the skill planner shows us that a ladder fire sorc can expect to hit a peak of 2022-2227 fire damage, but that would require a focused build, and access to pretty good gear.

(For the record, if you're curious as to how I compiled that damage figure, I used the following design:

01 Warmth
12 Fire Bolt
19 Fireball
01 Fire Mastery

And +11 skills (+2 Ammy, +2 Circlet, +1 Viper, +2 SoJs, +1 Visc, +2 Spirit, +1 Magefists).
