OK I made this new Conc barb and I got this new sword, it's nice and I like it. Anyways, it has 20%ias and it's a rune sword. It already has a hel rune but I can try to clean that out if needed.
What should I socket it with? Max dam jewel, PAmethyst, Eth rune, Shael, or something else? (Please no more dreaded El rune jokes lol)
I'm also going to use battle cry, in case that changes any opinions.

I would shael it so you would not have to wear death gloves. You could wear Sanders or Bloodfist instead. You could always benefit from more life.

if you;re using deaths and hitting the bp...you can still use bloods and hit the bp with shael
deaths = 30%
shael + blood = 30%.
unless you arent hitting the bp right now and you need another 10%.
edit: nevermind, i answered my own thought.

For barbs, weapon speed is much more different than total speed. It's messed up and complicated, but weapon speed changes a lot more than you think.
Go try it out.
