I am in the process of making a level 18 zealer using the typical eqiupment: 3 sock helm with 15 max jewels, 4 sock shield ,etc.

I can't seem to get a enhanced damage military pick, so if go ahead and use a pick without ED, would it affect my damage by a lot?

the ed% on the weapons effects weapons BASE dmg only.

base dmg on pick = 7-11

15% of 7 = 1 min
15% of 11 = 1 max
(no decimals)

so the final dmg on pick would be 8-12 with 15% sup

the base can only be increased from etherealness. the increase is 50% so the base ethereal pick becomes 10-16
then 15% sup makes 11-18 ethereal pick

ed% from jewels added on the weapon get mixed with the ed% from superior. 100%ed + 15%superior means u have 115%ed off the weapons base.

+dmg jewels add AFTER all the ed%'s on the weapon

keep in mind, as low as 10% ed on a mili pick will add +1 max damage. but only 15%ED will add both 1max and 1 min.

meaning 10%ED-14%ED will leave you with a 7-12 dmg pick, and 15% will leave you with a 8-12.
