okay, so here is my cheap level 15 smiter:
full sig except shield
swordback
crushflange
angelic ring/ammy
still iso another angelic ring

45 in str, so that when i use crushflange, i can wear sig gloves, and when i wear those, i can wear everything else.
just enough in dex to get 75% block
rest in vitality (its at 52)
some charms, but not very many.

Now, to my questions.
1. I can socket sig helm, sig armor and swordback. What should i put in them (iths, flawless skulls, flawless rubies)?
2. I have 1 point in smite, prayer, cleansing and defiance.
I'm normal rushed, and so at level 15, i have 14 points remaining.
Where should i put these points for a defense/regen smiter (e.g. defiance for melee, and clensing synergised with prayer for casters and other smiters) ?

Thanks

rubies in helm and armor imo, and since you're going for a defense build i'd go with an amethyst in the shield (+24 def). you could put a skull in the shield for dueling other smiters too.

for skills, i would max defiance, and rest to prayer. i dont put too much faith in this char beating casters, and there arent too many at this level so i wouldnt worry about them and would just focus mainly on melees.

rubies are nice, other option for helm could also be stat/def jewel(ie. 4str/6dex/20def <- thouse are perf stats btw ;d i used on my smiter 6dex/20def jewel on helm and like waramp said flawless ame for more def into the shield or skull vs other smiters, also i guess stat/def jewel could be added into shield aswell and also for a weapon stat/def jewel is nice

if you get a hell rush you could go

1 smite
10 defiance
14 prayer
1 cleansing

= 26 skills. or you could swap a defiance for prayer, depending on which you need more.

socket all possible +life items with rubies for sure, stat jewel the weapon, and either ith or skull the shield.

heprea, what is your sig's build? it looks very good -.-

that would be the most used skill setup (even if not hell rushed)

my item setup:
sigons helm
angelic amu
rare eth/repair anc armor
swordbackhold
crushflange
sigons belt
sigons gloves
cow king boots
angelic ring
rare +5str/dmg reduce/ some resi ring cant remember all stats i need to check that char if its even alive anymore o.o''
charms where 10life sc's with mods like def or res

I suggest that you should replace Sigon's Shelter for a Angelic Mantle; so you'll get 48 more defense.

he really only needs 3 sigs for the 100 defense bonus. could go with angelic armor and cow boots.

i think he wants it to be sigs, just for the cheap factor. at least that's what i got out of it. otherwise yes, angelic armor and ck boots would be a better option.

If that's the case, I wonder why he didn't choose to go with Sigon's Guard instead of Swordback Hold for the full set bonus of 100 Defense, Attacker Takes Damage of 12 (32 in total if you include the 20 from Sigon's Shelter), and Damage Reduced by 7. Also, I bet that Sigon's Sabot and Sigon's Guard are cheaper than Cow King's Hooves and Swordback Hold.

My bad, I was only thinking about Crushing Blow since it's a level 15 Smiter Razz.
