ok ive been mlding a while but ive been useing a lvl 59 barbs which arnt mld any more wscnl im making a barb so whats the best boot/belt/glove combo

Depends on situation.

My MLD BVC which I built primarily vs casters/ranged uses Classic stat war gaunts + string/tgods + classic boots

Gaunts - 13 str 19 dex 33 life 17 fr 29 pr
Boots - 30 frw 18 str 13 dex 36 cr 47 lr 25 fr

ik trio is good...but only bvb or barb vs melee imo. the 25 str is useless on the belt imo.. and set bonuses are only defense and ar (with right charms ar shouldnt be an issue/defense only useful melee/bvb). the +2 ww is nice but thats about it, but 125 str for war boots :[. ias isnt necessary (nor does it help). and my barb using those boots + soe + prudence, not built for bvb, wins almost 98% of the time bvb. i never use gore or need to.

i use oath small crescent btw.

imho a bvc is based around adaptation and having many setups is key to this.

my general suggestion for a setup - ik gaunts/stat war gaunts w/ life, tgods (20 str for dmg/str + 20 vit =80 life), gore rider.

i would recommend belt being a 20 str/60 life one but i like being able to swap belts (tgod/ow belt vs casters/soe vs melee/smite/barb/snowclash if necessary). if you depend on something as a source for str make it your boots (which i did)

now if youre making a BVB thats a whole different story.

I used Lava Gouts, 08 String, and Gores on my MLD barb.

If I got chant off, I won against Jeff everytime.

That's why Shaft and String so important to a MLD barb.

However, I'd only use IK gloves/belt when I was using a highland to hit the last bp, but I'd lose a good amount of ar and I've never tested it so I don't know if it's worth it.

shaft isnt required though if you use gaze and string as your other armor choices can make up for the loss in dr and other stats from using shaft string and arreats
