The size of my monitor pretty much forces me to play in window mode. I dont mind this, but i dont like the window minimizing everytime i click out of it.

Not just when im playing, because i can control my mouse with a degree of accuracy. But id like to be able to browse the net or do something else while still being able to sit in a game with my eye on the message log.

I heard that its possible to do it with d2loader, but i dont even want to chance it, as its not just my account on the line if blizz someday wants to ban people for using it or i get a dodgy copy of it.

There MUST be another way of doing it, maybe by playing around with windows [windows XP] settings.

what the...? i dont get it? does your client dissconnect everytime u click somewhere else than d2 or what?

i vaguely remember going into d2 properties and changing something along the lines of (XXXX") to (XXXXX"-win)
something like that, i forget the exact way to do it

He's asking if there is a way to disable minimizing when playing D2 in window mode. As far as I know, there's no solution that doesn't involve a 3rd party program.

if you use a loader, you can use the -nohide command in the same way you use -w to make it windowed. so "c:\program files...." -w -nohide

Im not prepared to risk a friends account if Blizz decide to ban people for using a loader.

I thought there would be something simple and obvious in the registry somewhere, no luck yet.
