I dont think there are wands that will most likely get those mods , I think they have all even chance of spawning with noxious of the magus....

That's right. You can always figure out how often a Noxious of Magus will pop up, but it's impossible to predict exactly what will spawn on those wands. (Like +skills)

if you;re shopping in nm, the most likely wand youll get is a bone wand, since thats what spawns the most at the shop. remember, yew wands will only get 1 socket, bone wands have a 50:50 chance of 2 sockets. so get a bone wand over a yew wand, if two spawn with the same mods, but different types. however, good luck finding a noxious bone wand of the maxus with anything ever remotely resembling a bone skill. after 2 hours of shopping, i got a noxious yew wand of the magus with +2 spear. you may have to settle.

Yeah, in NM the majority of the wands that spawn at drognan are bone wands, which can get 2 sockets. Yew wands are the second most common, though not nearly as much as bone wands, and can only get 1 socket...only worth it if spawns with GOOD +skills. Petrified wands are the third most common, they are the exceptional version of yew wands, and can get 2 sockets, but, just like yew wands, they are ugly and look like a stick that someone peed on. And the least common are tomb wands, which are the exceptional versions of bone wands, and can get 2 sockets.

For looks, max sockets, and rarity, bone wands are your best hope. The noxious mod gives wands a yellow color, and bone/tomb wands look the best (imagine a yellow Ume's Lament)

Yew wands can only get 1 socket from socket quest?!?! NOOOOO i found a normal +3 bone spirit wand in nm cows i was gunna use for a pubby Necro build, was gunna make it a "White" wand Bah, rune my idea onthe char lol. Guess its back to drognan.... bah

if i have a 2os 20 fcr and some other mod wand but it's blue can i make a white out of it or will it not work?

wont work. rune words can only be made out of socketed white items. aka, normal items. no blues, golds, or yellows. (magics, uniques or rares)

i shopped a noxious/magus the other day.. +2 attract. i really think i should have went with the summoners/magus of +3 spirit.. i've seen this exact wand 6 times in the time it took to spawn a noxious of magus. my question is this: ditch the noxious in favor of the addtl. +2 spirit, or is the +1 overall really that much more important. Note that it took me 3 hours to shop the noxious wand, and I'm not willing to shop that long ever again. EVER. for any reason. but i am perfectly willing to do it for the whole 30 minutes it should to spawn the summ/magus +3 wand.

you might as well just use umes then. its +2 pb, 20 fcr, +some curses and +40 mana. its alot better than a plain noxious of the magus

not one person on us east non-ladder has umes lament, i've come to realise. i gave up on umes after about a month.

I've spent at least 8 hours shopping, and haven't found a single Noxious of the Magus with +2-3 spirit

I never even thought about Ume's Lament, I think I'll use it for now, and just shop whenever I have some spare time. Now to find a shield o.O
