Hammerdin boots |
|
Well i'm stumped... I'm unsure of the boots to use on my lvl 30 hammerdin. I though Tearhaunchs at first then realized that whould require me to add 25 points to strength that whouldnt be needed for anything other then to equip them. Please give me some advice on what to look for.

Cowkings would be one of the better choices.

Cow kings or sanders. My lvl 30 hammer uses cow kings for the 20 dex. Frw isnt really needed b/c i have charge for transportation. Niether is the ar from sanders =/

I think cow kings sounds good. Also should I use strings for belt and get max block?

yeah u should have enough fcr with dual spirits to get 125 (65-70 from spirit, 30 from magi, 20 from gloves/circ, 10 from ammy), so go with soe
always max block. i never got fools who didnt max block a din

With spirits around, 125 fcr is a must. Get it one way or another. Max block is a necesity, without it your as good as dead.

depends on how u wanna play your hammerdin. i think hammer primary attack with charge as 2nd attack is really nice. so charge not just passive for the fast moving, but also for dmging. i dont know if its legit or so but if u use a 2hand nice dmg insight rw u can still do decent dmg with charge tho u got max hammer dmg ( should be round 1.x k) and u got nice mana reg then. also if u dont want to use insight for any reason, a hammerdin with a honor rw in a 3hammer maybe x medi divine scepter will still get u some nice charge dmg vs amas so. and u got more hammer dmg than with e.g. dual spirit hammerdin. in case u wanna use that option i would advice to use sanders for ar, if pure hammer build, ck would be my choice.
edit: 125fcr isnt a must imho. 75 still works gr8 and can be done with only 1 spirit (shield). 35 shield, 30viper, 10 amu/circ.

I like the idea and I already planned on useing insight on switch for the mana so that might work out well. I might use sanders just for that reason and that charging whould do awsome vs casters. Thanks alot on your input. Now all I have to do is choose between ck and sanders.
Oh and I already have 125 fcr. So that doesnt really matter.

the thing with an insight switch is that you wont have much str to play around with so you wont have a very big dmg insight weapon. my 30 currently uses a hshield scepter in stash with a 3foh/3convic scepter when dueling. it doesnt do much dmg for chars with max light res but it still does dmg and good for 2v2 duels for 1v1 id recommend the insight

Insight Runestaff has decent damage and only 25 str required. I have one of these in my stash and do 800-1.4k charge with it. +Crit strike helps a bunch too.

If you use charge as an ATTACK instead of just transportation, however.......
Quote: | Paladin (Charger**) - 27
Skill Restrictions:
**Pure Chargers are considered ranged characters. Any Paladin variant using charge as a means of attack is limited to level 27. Any Paladin can use charge as a means of transportation.
