Alrighty, I've been working on this lld wind druid for a while now, and I think hes finally done.

Stats (With Gear):
Level - 30
Str - 45
Dex - 90
Vit - 112
Energy - 20
Life - 1000 (Without oak sage); 1526 (With oak sage)
Mana - 339
Resistances: All 75%

Skills (With Gear):
Oak Sage - 6
Arctic Blast - 8
Cyclone Armor - 28 (625 Dmg Absorbed)
Twister - 11
Tornado - 17 (733 Dmg)
Hurricane - 8 (197 Dmg)

Gear:
Weapon: 35/108/8 Crystal Sword Spirit
Shield: Rhyme Bone Shield
Armor: 35 Resistance Vipermagi with a 14 All Res Jewel (49 res in total)
Helm: +3 Tornado Superior Wolf Head with 3 Perfect Rubies
Gloves: Magefists
Boots: Sander's Riprap
Belt: Perfect SoE
Amulet: Rare with +2 Elemental Skills, +10 Fire Res, +12 Psn Res, Damage Reduced by 2, 53% Gold Find
Rings: 2 SoJs

Charms:
35x 15 life sc's
4x 14 life sc's
1x 13 life sc

This guy is currently my best lld. He's on ladder and is only rushed through norm. I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions for him.

it seem slike you only hit 75 fcr, you'll probably want to move up to 99fcr
(35 spirit, 10 fcr on ammy, 10 fcr belt or ring)

Hmmm, another breakpoint would be nice. I would probably go with a belt so I wouldn't have to sacrifice the skillpoints from my rings. Looks like I'll have to find an fcr/skill ammy Very Happy

I have alot of experience with wind druids, have had mine for quite a while and he is quite good.

Heres my suggestions. You have the same build as mine does except the spirit, since Ive had mine well before these new runewords.

You need 99% FCR. plain and simple. It is that much better then the lower breakpoint. I would value hitting that next breakpoint over adding 3 + skills to your druid.

You can simply do that by getting a 30fcr+ spirit sword, a 10fcr crafted belt, and a +2 ele 10 fcr + other mods ammy.

Also, 339 mana might be a bit low. It will certainly get done any quick duels, but some stalemates (defensive battles) might occur where u run out. If your like me, and cant stand chugging mana pots when u run out, then i suggest grabbin yourself a +45 mana GC. It will add on another 60+ mana to your blue orb which is another 6+ tornados.

IMO, lld wind druids, lvl 30, cant be beaten consistenly by any lld besides a good lvl 30 bone nec if the windy druid is used correctly. Or so thats been my experiences on ladder so far in my 4 months of having him.

Another thing that might help, if you feel need for more dmg and dont mind sacrificing the 114 life from your helm, would be a +3 tornado lore'd helm. Lore not only adds + 1 skills but like 7 damaged reduced which is pretty big in lld.

Also make sure to get a vipermagi that has 13 mdr b/c it also helps alot vs casters. Not sure if that one you have is or not.

Thats a good setup you got there, and as you will find out, he is the funnest lld build also IMO Very Happy

try re-rolling your spirit (or making another) and get 35%, since you have a bottom of the barrel 25% one. then you wont have to replace your belt for a 10% FCR belt.

edit: nevermind, youll have to use a fcr belt anyways. thets pretty brutal, 4% shy of a BP costing you another item to ditch.

viper 30, amulet 10, spirit 35, mage 20 = 95%. 99 for the BP. thats harsh. could always look into getting a +2 elemental +2 fcr 2 socket circlet. or maybe a nice +2 elemental fcr +3 tornado rare pelt.

change your belt. the DR from it, will more than likely save you less life than the 114 added from your helm (+life is a form of DR in itself, since both will let you take more hits). plus your helm adds nice dmg.

Ya, just go with belt/ammy for the extra 14% needed. Good thing is you dont have to worry about getting a 10 fcr belt. You can just get 5 fcr and get good other stats.
