Think this is at all viable?

I made a rough build on single player and reached about 1.7k fury damage with 3.4k rabies, max block, 1.7k/4k ar life with oak (sojs set-up) and 1.7k/9k ar with angelics

Viable?

IMO 3.4k rabies is pretty pointless, you'd be better off focusing purely on fury. Against 75% poison res, 1 fury hit is pretty much equivalent to 1 rabies hit.

Very true.. rabies / fury isnt a good combo.. both skills are better by themselves. IMO i would lean towards fury.. but rabies just seems to have more flare..

fury is definitely the better of the two. though rabies sounds cool anyone with resistance will just laugh at it.

Yea I believe weaj had made a hybrid on ladder but was considering making a pure fury, but I think he said he was going to keep both chars. I would pm him about it for sure

Yes he definitely has one. I can tell you this, the hybrid certainly has its advantages. It might be weaker in a strict melee sence, but rabies definitely makes it more versatile, at least vs. certain chars (i.e cheesedins).

I'll take some screen shots of gear and skill placement tonight perhaps, other than that, yes this build does work out, though pure fury would be better off, it is still a fun char to play and for a hybrid, it does fairly well.

my friend had a poison zon and rabies druid i think, each had like 20+K if i remember correctly

My lvl 49 druid has 47k max psn dam, ~2600life w/o Oak, a good deal of frw and res. Fury is really a minor matter - only to blocklock cs zons.

It's more than just fun, it's very fun and among your lvls if you manage to hit you will win a lot of duels. Hitting is quite easy with Stealth for example.

I don't see how it can't be viable, rabies hits pretty easy and while your whacking down 1.7k fury 3.4k psn (75% res won't laugh - fb sorcs do 2.9k and do tons of dmg) will kill off lots of life as well.
