Need help with lvl49 Rabies druid |
|
Hi, new as a member but I have been watching this forum for a while. Made a user because I need help and this is probably one of the best places for that.
So I'd like to make a rabies druid because he's original and seems to be packed with potential.
First off I'm not too familiar with druids, secondly I want to have fun, nothing too serious - pure pub fun. This also means I don't want to spend a fortune.
I need tips equippment and skill wise as I've found no guides. Which def. doesn't have to be a bad thing.
Ok here's what I thought of:
13 Werewolf
1 Lycanthropy
1 Feral Rage
20 Rabies
20 Poison Creeper
1 Oak Sage
1p in Oak because people tend to kill it so I thought it might be wiser to invest more in either WW or Lyca.
I'm such an idiot I'm not 100% sure if Rabies is attack rating based attack but I'm pretty sure
Equipment wise, what and why (in my opinion )
Jalals cost effective +p facet
Duress (dusk) fhr/dmg/cb & ow/decent def
Strings dr | rare str/life/res belt? | Tg for electric fights?
Bloodfists ias/fhr/life
Waterwalk dex/life/res | Gore? ow&cb&ds | Sander | Aldur
Angelic amu + ring life/ar (do I need that much ar?) + Raven ar/dex/cbf
... or crafted frw/block amu + rare/craft ring + Raven
6s Naga shael/rbf combined? ias/psn dam
...or Fleshrender +skill/ds&ow&cb/dam "shael"/rbf
Sanctuary dex/fhr/block/res & slow missile to p off some people
Whistan +rbf
So I'd have 3 frame fhr and 5 frame block with whistan.

Now these are my thoughts, I hope people are more willing to help when they see others have also made some efforts
Regards, Wildjesus

First off, welcome to LLD101. Second, this is in the wrong section lld is considered 30 or lower, this belongs in general discussion.
Your gear choices arent bad, just a few changes i would make:
shaft vs melee, stealth vs casters.
strings vs melee, mavs belt vs casters.
bloodfists? no no NO! trangs gloves!
for weps, plague bearer and harmony bow on switch. This is what i use, but maybe 6shael war axe/naga and plague on switch [hit with the shaeled wep and switch to plague after].
3 shape/life amu would be nice.
Im sure you can see the pattern here, dr for physical attacks, frw for casters. For most games, i would try for a happy mix so you dont need to switch gear.

For skill points, the only concern I have is that you should balance out between Werewolf and Lycanthropy. If you do put only 1 point in Lycanthropy, you wont have much duration and life when you're in werewolf form.
