No.

You gain 2 skills, yet you lose 55% FHR, 100+ Mana, and Mana absorbtion.

A orb that is useable has to be something along the lines of:

+2 Cold Skills
20% FCR
+3 Blizzard
+1-3 Cold Mastery

That's when they get decent.

Its better than spirit if you can replace the loss of mana/fhr with your charms

the orb is pretty nice, but spirit is just really hard to beat

I'd make a lvl 24 blizzard sorc with that. Off the wall pub killer. Why not, spirit swords are excellent and hard to beat but everyones basically got one so they loose apeal. To atleast people like me where pure killing power is no longer the goal.

GL finding 11x 5% FHR/9 mana small charms.



Orb is trash, if it was worth making a level 24, the skills would have to be 2-3-3.

how are spirits about pure killing power?! they give lower damage than orbs, but better stats. not about killing power at all

I never said spirits were about pure killing power. I ment it as a general term, sorry I'm not the best at explaining things and this concussion isnt helping lol. I ment it like just because spirits swords are so hard to beat as an allround item dosnt mean you have to follow the crowd and use one, in fact I would go out of my way not to use one if I had the choice.

If that had +1-3 iceblast on it I would deffinately make a lvl 24-25 sorc with it, I have seen enough lvl 25 kickers to make it justifiable. Still a keeper imo, not close to godly but a keeper (+2 socks is a bonus).

You should use all +14 life scs just so you can say "HA! I'm different! NEENER NEENER!"

Spirits ruined LLD what made casters stand out in LLD was how good their gear is now everyone uses the same gear.

yeah it is a great idea considering you can replace loss of fhr/mana with charms but you can't replace skills with skillers

I never said it was a cheaper option I said IF you could.....

I've never seen anyone make a level 24 Sorceress using Blizzard. It would be nice to make one with that Jared's Stone Mr. Green.
