There was something that was troubling me. Whenever I duel some dueler with full Sigon's on, I could only get them down to 1 life. I heard rumors about there being a level 18 "glitch". I think that level 18 characters with full Sigon's set can only get their life down to 1 when dueling a smiter. I want to see if this "glitch" is true. Also, is this for only level 18 if this "glitch" did exist?

the "glitch" is the 7 damage reduction that the full set gives. if your smiter isnt doing over 42 screen dmg (7 pvp dmg) then you cant kill them. since d2 is all about rounding down, i guess you need 48 screen dmg to kill a full sigon char with a smiter

Its not a glitch, sigons gives damage reduce, you can't kill them if your damage is reduced to neg, crushing blow does most of your damage but reg smite can't take away all your life...wanna know how to fix it? Put a charge or zeal switch on, when you get them low just smack them up with your weapon and not you shield.

No smiter can kill my lvl 15 kicker... unless he does what dragon suggests and even then their zeal is so weak they are very lucky to even hit. I can stack about 12 dr at lvl 15 and they just stand there smacking me and I laugh with my ONE life and continue kicking them till I win. It's a beautiful thing.

some kid used to always do that to my lvl 16 smiter Mimes... it pissed the hell out of me, but then some other noob would always come over and smack him or hit him with like a fb and he would die
