Just trying to get a census on how many of each party there are.

If you're not 18 or not part of the U.S., please don't vote.

I'm under 18 so I didnt vote but...

I hate both partys, but usually if I had a choice its Republican. Not voting is stupid imo, so it depends on the views of the candidates usually. Last election democrats were pro abortion and against the death penalty, which translates to me as kill babys save old people that have killed others. So I sided with the Republicans (not that it matters)

I'm a Democrat, not because I necessarily like their platform, but because I don't like many tenets of the Republican platform. I'm liberal in my social policy and conservative in my foreign policy, and unfortunately neither party fully objectifies that now.

Speaking of which, not to get OT, but I see Hillary officially tossed her hat in the ring for '08. This is why Democrats usually can't sustain election victories past two years. Too many whackjobs in the party. She's gonna cost us the election in '08 if the Republicans put forward anyone other than a hardcore conservative wing-nut.

I dunno Dao, Hillary might have a shot since she'll probably get most of the women votes.

I personally want Bill back in the White House so... Hillary for '08!

So then Bill can be the.....First Man?

I turn 18 very very soon, but I haven't really decided which party go with as of yet.

I'm a Conservative Republican.

And I hope this doesn't turn into a "I'm right, you're wrong" flamefest. The fewer tags to be handed out, the better.

However, if this turned into a "Tastes Great - Less Filling" beerfest, then everyone would be winners!*

(*note: if you actually post a "tastes great" or "less filling" response, you are a loser.)

Knarl, I would never have thought you to be a Republican, much less a conservative one. I mean my leanings are obvious: Democrat in life, and a total ass on the forums (that's a donkey joke, folks). Maybe your long trunk and affinity for peanuts shoulda been a clue.

And to Grim04: I don't think Hillary (or Obama, for that matter) has the chops to be President. Maybe if she ran in 2012 she'd be better seasoned. But right now, she's still too divisive a person to cross party lines and pick up moderate or conservative votes in any real number. Frankly, if McCain ran against her he'd have her whooped because, no matter how much conservatives don't like John McCain, they really don't like Hillary Clinton.

I'm not sure the female vote would be enough for her. I doubt many female Republicans would vote for her (they tend to run conservative, and they polled very negatively against her actions during's Bubba's sex scandal), and non-Republican women usually vote Democratic, anyway.

Obama, while still not a great choice, has less history and therefore a "cleaner slate" to run on. (I don't think he a whole lot to say, however...)

Despite my Democratic leanings, I might very well vote for John McCain if he gets the Republican nod. I was eager as hell to vote for him in 2000, but by the time California's primary came around he was already pretty much shut out by Georgie Boy.
