I'm making a lvl 30 charged strike zon. I need some help with skill placement and gear options.

GEAR

Always use gear:
Peace mage plate
godleh +4 -30 req cermonial javs
1 zon circ
imp brow
sander
2 soj

option #1:
go sigs gloves belt and shield for +1 skill and it covers my 30 ias

option #2:
go deaths gloves belt for my 30 ias and use rhyme grim shield for way more defense and 25 res but i lose a skill, also this looks better

SKILLS

Always skills:
1 in dodging skills
max cs for lvl
all synergies

Option #1:
put rest into lightning bolt

Option #2:
put rest into power strike

rest into lightning bolt i'd say. if you have charged strike, there's no need for power strike especially if you're not using angelics. as for gear, how about option 3: death's gloves and belt, and sig shield. i dont see a point in rhyme and death's. usually its 1 or the other for no freeze/resists. this way you'll also get that +1 skills, and it'll take less dex for max block with sig shield.

actualy rhyme gives 20/40 so its the exact same but i guess ill go option 3 and also, wat about skills

imo best way to go is iether 2 java 10% ias gloves, with string and rhyme grim.

or 2 java 10% ias gloves with deaths belt and whitstans.

its a trade off between dmg red% mdr resists vs more life, faster block, open socket. im not sure if the fbr even gets the next bp, ud probably have to shael it, probably help more vs zealers/kickers/fury druids.

1 in lightning bolt is enough. id get better evasive skills.

30% ias bp is fine imo, the differnce isnt that big compared to the benefits you gain with 2 java gloves and the other choices.

use p crown till you get a 1 zon 30% frw life circlet.

from personal experience, rhyme+string+2/10 gloves is the way to go.

dont listen to shdw, max your synergies. the passives will be easily over 40%, and quite possibly 50%. max lightning bolt still gives a few points left over, so either put them into power strike or get lightning fury if you plan on dueling summon druid/necros (< like that happens often...)

oh, if you get 2/10 gloves you still need 20 ias on your javs at least for teh 30% bp. 4/-30 ceremonials are really only good for fury/light bolt tossing since some of the dmg is wep based. get maidens.

i actually prefer 1/2/20-30 instead of 4/20-30 cuz of the +1 passives, and while using imp brow you still release the same number of bolts with both of them (i know, ive checked plenty of times, i only need +1 more to jav skills to get 1 extra bolt on my zon...and no perm imp brow on ladder)

youll need at least 45 life on the circlet to make it worth using btw.

on my zon i used,

p crown
sig shieild
x2 soj
peace
elitch ammy
sanders
2 java gloves, 10 ias
2 java skill 30 ias jav's

for charms i had a mixture of life/str/dex... i just like making my lil chars naked to the eye

but for skills, it's simple, max cs, put 1 into dodge, avoid, and slow missle (optional for the slow missle, thats something out of preference). put all the rest of your skills into lightning throw, that'll be your secondary skill.

your passive skills will all be between 40-55% which is more than enough to escape damage.

with this u'll do atleast 1k damage if not more depending on the quality of your jav's, from 2-4 skills.

as far as rhyme vs sig, i've found sig to be better ONLY because of the higher damage. because you won't be doing 2-3k damage, pvp and high res factors will being your damage down a whole lot. personally, for me i liked the higher damage over blocking/res but thats just my opinion.

unless you get farcast and have everyone hate u... smiters, fireball sorc's, and a few other types of lld will destroy a cs zon, but good luck

yea imo if your good enough to farcast legitemately by exploiting the bug its fine. its like desynch really.

Welp, ive just recently made java zon (hurray for me). What i did skill wise was maxd cs, then lightning bolt. 1 point into dodge skills, and then rest into power strike. I recomend not putting any points into lightning fury because ud have to waste one point into plaque java or what not.. and java zon needs all the dmg she can get.

personally i'd try to come up with something else... no offense to other cs zon's but in all serouisness, unless u fc ALOt of good lld'ers out there will ownt you. due to the run up and poke factor, it's easy for melee to trap you and casters to run and cast. i'd lookinto a bowzon over a cs zon... my buddy just made a 30 cs zon that did 1.3k somehow, i believe he just put everysingle skil into cs, lightning throw and power strike. but this is all my opinion.

ya see when i made mine, she was lvl 35 and i ended up with a 1.7k cs, but a 1.3kcs is not enough damage, but thats still a correct statement in this situation

I haven't looked at any of the other posts, so sorry if this has been said.
The ideal javzon setup for me would be:

4 jav 20 ias javs
peace
2 jav 30 fcr 2 soc circ
on West, 1 all jav skills, 60+ mana, 15 res ammy. Imp for east
Death's belt and gloves
Sanders boots
Good res, life, mana, attri rings
Sigon shield
On switch: not sure

Skills: 1 in each evasive skill
as much in cs, max Lightning bolt, none in lvl 30 syn's, rest in other syn's.
