i dont know if anyone has come up with this idea before but im sorta tired with the old duels where people keep running u over or vice versa

heres the skinny:

1. two teams consisting of 3 people each, ALL lvl 9s (i repeat lvl NINEs)

2. one referee (which will be me or anyone else who has a enchantress)

3. each member on the team will be enchanted thus making you do about 500 damage (my enchantress is a fb sorc with one skill into enchant >.< but i think its okay)

4. absolutely no gear is allowed EXCEPT a bow or crossbow

5. no charms either, if u do not die in 1-3 hits that means you have some special suprise lurking in your inventory

6. all sniper games take place in in the harem and palace cellars (will be cleared up by me so u wont be distracted or loot some potions off

7. one team will start at harem lvl 1, one team will start back from arcane sanctuary, going back up to the palace cellar lvl 3

8. each team's captain will say "GO" when team is ready and referee will say "let the sniping begin" and u can start

9. if u happen to run out of arrows or bolts, you can equip a dagger or kris or dirk as a combat knife to take out your opponents, however u cannot wear a shield at the same time

10. each sniper war will have a best of 7 series, the team who wins 4 games shall receive a good item (all members of the team will receive this suprise item ^^, dont worry its not crappy)

11. last but not least, the banned skills: multi arrow, resist fire aura, burst of speed, elemental skills from sorcs or druids, shout

that is all, if u have any more suggestions, ideas, complaints, post em here in this thread, or u can ask me online

sounds like a lot of fun but best of 7 might take a long time with 3v3.
also, i have a few suggestions that you can take or leave, it's up to you.
everyone makes a new character on whatever realm the ref is (so that he can clear with a higher level). this would allow people from all realms to participate. i suggest that the ref rush everyone to the palace and then everyone goes back to level in act 1. as for ensuring that nobody cheats when it comes to charms, just make everyone pick up 40 scrolls or 20 tomes.

This sounds awesome, I'd love to sign up but arrgh no CD. PM me if you need help setting this up.

Just to help you out, as a test...make people pick up a bunch of items that would fill an inventory without them equipping it (like plain threshers for instance). If they can pick up all the items and they don't return to stash at all, you know they're clean. This is also the technique employed by euro-pvp to see if people are lying about using duped charms.

excellent so its about 4 or 5 ppl so far? i'll talk to knarl or pansy if we can set up a special bot function for sniper games =)

btw is this gonna be a 1 hitt killing thing becuae.. 300 dmg will not instant kill us everytime

500 fire damage vs an ironman style lvl9? maybe, maybe not...maybe someone can suggest a better damaging enchant...

But the idea is very very good.

we could always just skip the enchanting part unless one hit killing was the idea allen had in mind.

one thing im not getting, is how you are getting 500 dmg enchant, when you only have 1 point used in it. 1 enchant with warmth maxed only gives like 140 max fire dmg. you do know that fire mastry doesnt add to enchant when you enchant other people, right? it only adds to you. warmth adds to other people, as it is a synergy of enchant. so if you are reading the dmg off yourself when you enchant yourself, it is inaccurate. and you may only enchant other people for 40 fire dmg.

ie: my enchantress has maxed mastry/warmth/enchant. when she enchants herself, she gets 19k 1 hand dmg. when she enchants other people, they get 3.5k.

alot of people like to be impressive by saying they have 1 point into it but lots of gear skills into it... maybe that's what he's saying.

so inturn his lvl 1 enchant could be lvl 20 after gear/charms

level 20 warmth, with points physically put into it (to actually get the synergy) and level 1 enchant with +20 skills from gear (eschuntas, soj, soj, arachnids, magefist, 10 gcs, lidless, shako, +2 amulet)

yields a whopping, 207-268 dmg.

yah i definately had a lvl 1 warmth and a lvl 1 enchant but both lvl 27 from gear and had 500 dmg for other people.
