People said level 30 wasn't "viable" so I figured out that a 49 could be.

Weapon:

"Oath small crescent"

Awesome damage and IAS, has a range of 10-15 magic absorb, and 30% chance to cast a level 20 bone spirit which does 340-350 damage.

Helm:

"Guillames face winged helm"

+30% Faster Hit Recovery, 15% Deadly Strike, 35% Chance of Crushing Blow, +15 To Strength. Plus it looks awsome!

Armor:

Many choices... My 2 favorites are, "Ethereal shaftstop mesh armor" or a 4 socketed 100 life jewelers armor with 3x facets and a socket of your choice. [1x 5/5 lit 1x 5/5 cold 1x 5/5 fire (Make sure they are on "death")]

Shield:

The best level 49 paladin shield IMO is HoZ.

30% Increased Chance Of Blocking
30% Faster Block Rate
20% Bonus To Attack Rating
+20 To Strength
+20 To Vitality
All Resistances +50
+2 To Paladin Skill Levels
+2 To Combat Skills (Paladin Only)

Boots:

Either Goreriders, war travelers, or +65 life waterwalks.

Gloves:

Bloodfists. [Im sure there is alot better choices, but I like them ^^]

Belt:

Thundergods vigor war belt. 'nuff said ^^.

Jewelry:

1x 20 dex raven frost.
1x dwarf.
1x not good amulet.

Stats:

STR: Enough for gear.
DEX: Enough for max block.
VIT: All your left over points go here.
ENG: None.

Skills:

[1 In each pre-req]
20 Vengeance.
1 Holy shield.
1 Conviction [Add more depending on what you put in the res fire/cold/lit/salvation]

The rest I need your guys' help with how many to put in res fire/cold/lit/salvation.

sounds interesting hm...lvl49 so with al lthe skill quests you'll get 60 in total ? i think...

conviction seems pretty key with this build since in mid to high level duel most people will have maxd res so id think a maxd conviction is needed.

20 veng 20 conv 12 pre-reqs [including hs] leaves 8 to be divided into the resist auras ? if you can get your hands on a hs prebuff then itll ave you 5 points that can go into the resist auras to get a tad more damage [around 50% more total element dmg]

for ammy/boots if your rich get some armageddon slippers XD and grab some gspurs or sspurs and ring wise, try dual ravens instead. coldmastery is a pain in the ass and blizz sorcs can rack up high damage. plus, its an extra 20dex = 20 more points to go into vit.

for salvation, if you want most damage output then just spread points as equally as possible between the 3 resist auras.

well thats what i think. i havent been around d2 in ages so my knowledge may be kind of [or very] rusty, sorry xD
