my 15lvl pally does/did pretty well vs 18lvl zealers/chargers @ europe ladd (pic in my sig needs to be updated, it has now nearly 800life and 75mana and small differenses@res )

my gear:

crushflange(6dex jewel)
swordbackhold(flawless ammy)
rare ancient armor eth repair/21life/12%edef/17%FHR(-15req/15def jewel)
angelic combo
siggy boots
siggy belt
cowking boots

switch gear:
+1 zeal malice rw war scepter
59%ed/110ar 16str/9max/11dtm Rodance (16str is becous, i dont have enough str to wear my armor/helm in switch w/o crushflanges +15str)

heprea, what's your ar and damage with zeal?

Yeah I was thinking of using SBH on my switch. Any weapon would work with sbh, I might use the gnasher just to apply OW quickly then switch back to my damage setup.

Or for pubbies, I might end up using a life tap wand on my switch. Also, to make this character arena legal, I might look for a good amulet with +life, +mana, and +resists to swap out angelics.

I was also thinking of a charge setup, but most likely crushflange will do fine with the kb. I don't plan on charging much, but might as well optimize everything.

I think lifetap wands are a higher level requirement, mid 20s or something.

Ah well that doesnt matter much saying they're BM anyways.

So I am pretty certain that I am going to go with the mighty smiter build. It should accomplish what I wanted it to do - beat lvl 30+s. And it should do alright against other smiters. I only have to see how well it does against zealots.

So unless anyone has any further ideas or criticism, I'm gonna start making this build and it's only a matter of finding the items. Sadly 20% ed jewels arent nearly as popular as 9 maxers.

my smiters zeal ar/dmg 1012 ar 55-128 wich is 25-35 fire dama

So really, my smite would be doing almost as much naturally. I feel like that's a good finisher, especially saying it doesn't rely on ar or level calcuations.

Well im pretty satisfied with my current mock-up. Time to put it into action. Once I get everything completed, if anyone would like to help me test and tweak it, that'd be awesome. Also, I'll tell everyone how it goes.

FYI, it's gonna be on USEast Ladder

I have most of the gear atm, I am still looking for 20% ed jewels because they are impossible to find. However, once I get this guy completed, I'll post screen shots and tell ya how he does.

Damage is actually 30-90 due to the %ed from gear. Gear is exactly what I said it would be. I'm still workin on charms and getting my 15 life scs, after that I should have 900-1000 life. Block is also obviously 75%.

Also like to mention that you could make practically the same character at level 12 with a heraldric shield and something other than twich. Perhaps light plate with 3x 20% ed jewels. Damage might still be around 60ish.
