hi, i just kinda stumbled upon the lld forum and thought it would be kinda cool to make lld again. back in 1.09 i made a lvl 9 ts sin but that was with bugs and all that so legit items in this area is new for me.

im really only intrested in lvl 9 dueling. alot of the finding of items, you guys are always refering to that affix calc, but i am confused as hell on how to use the thing... i have no idea what i need to put in.

i wanted to make a ts/talon sin to start since it seems to be one of the easier builds. so i want a blade talon with 10 ias. also want some chain boots. ar rings.

so for blade talons... i put in blade talons up top. then what do i want for everything else? monster drop rare and i have no idea what i want for ilvl and clvl. and does this thing just tell me what mods will appear? or will it help me figure out where to mf?

also how do i figure out imbuming (sp? the smith quest) i read somewhere it can help figure out how to increase your chance of wanted mods... but i got lost on what accually to do and how to read the results.

also how does crafting affect lvl requirements.. can you craft lvl 9 required items?

ive tired reading stuff about the calc but get lost. could someone atleast break down and give me a example or 2? mayb then ill figure this thing out. i really did try to understand it and tried playing with it.

also i read about that boss bug rare drop thing and was wondering what bosses do the best at dropping what items? i made one to kill andy but all i find for a sin is rare rings.

To make things a lot easier, you don't 'need' a 10ias blade talon for a lvl 9 TS kicker. Check the stickies for common equipment setups.

At the lvl of 9 I'd suggest either pure kick or pure ts... a combo would be too weak.

Talon ias = 10% = 9.5 frames, 25=9, 30=8.5, 50=8, 60=7.5

deaths gives u 30 and bfists give u 10... I guess you could go for 10 more on your claw to reach the next bp. Prepare for a long wait for horrible ias btalons tho.

With bos and non ias claws I do fine with my ts sin. Basic builds are in the stickies.

As for how to use the calc... Input the highest mod you can expect on a lvl 9 claw (you can just guess and its fine... so input lvl 1 Cool

. It will list possibilities "up to" alvl 18 mods. The clvls are listed so just read them... I'm not sure what you're asking here unless it is where to shop or what lvl to imbue.

I believe this was answered before and that level is 15-18 gives you the best chance of imbueing not good mods on a claw. I've always used level 8-15... but, I'm not the expert so...
