well this is my first lld ever except for catapult who isnt really lld...
feel free to give suggestions

20 warmth
1 firebolt
1 fireball
13 enchant
1 fire mastery

now for the 5 extra points im guessing i'll put 2 in shiver armor which would help with my def

678-840 fire damage enchant lasts 768 seconds

i dunno if i should go after phys damage too... should i use some max damage charms/jewels? or just stick with prubies and things with life
if im going for physical i'd have to change to use the exceptional version of military pick... which would require more str

the highest melee sorc ias bp is 99%
so i'd put 4 shaels in a military pick (20% on twitch) and then maybe 2 pamythests or eths?

as for fhr i have 50 from gear... and i'd probaby use 2 5% charms to get me at 8 frames i dunno if i should go any lower

i'd get an orb with tele and maybe tstorm or mana shield or shiver armor
and use that on switch

for fighting i'd use
up'd twitch with pruby
rhyme grim shield
string of ears
bloodfists
3 ruby helm
angelic combo
sanders boots

for casting enchant i'd use
+3 enchant leaf
+2 fire circ
+2 fire ammy
2 sojs
magefists
viper/spiritshroud

yea was just about to come edit the post and ask about that...
how high can zeal charges go on a scepter though

btw this sorc is gonna be lvl 30

"artificers" 3 sockets lvl 25
"smoldering" can add 50-90 fire.. after fire mastery that might be another?? fire dmg
"weird" +450 ar

hmm thing is if i go zeal wont i have to worry about ias again?
unless i get a 3 shael zeal scepter, i wont be able to go over the ias bp with the gear i want to use

if you're going to be using a 3 ruby mask, i was gambling circlets earlier, and i am fairly sure i gambled a 72 or 70 something to life circlet with 2 sockets, level 30 req, so 72 + 76 is 148, which is better than the 114 for a 3x pruby mask, i'll give you the circlet

i can use any 15 mdr string with any other stats at all, i only use it vs orb sorc and charge strike zon, and i barely come across the zon, and orb sorcs are usually just tal rasha sorcs anyways so theyre easy to beat either way

I encountered one good lld melee sorce in all my time of playing. She used:

Peasant crown-P skull
Upped twitch-15 maxer
Angelic ammy
Angelic rings
strings
upped bloodfists
Sanders
rhyme grim
honor knout

on switch she had a 2 fire-3 enchant orb with visceraunt on switch

She used a lot of max dmg charms because the fire dmg alone isn't going to be enough to kill, its mostly just gonna help your ar. I dueled this sorce with my 18 jabber who was at her peak at the time and when i could actually hit her she replenished the life so fast that I couldn't ever kill her. I believe it was hell rushed because she had quite a high lvl shiver armor.

Some things to think about:
An orb on the switch w/ plus to t storm will not make a difference because although it displays the little lightning stuff around the sorce it will not attack this has been discussed here and tested by me Razz

i dont need + to skills when not casting enchant, so i wouldnt use pcrown, i think i'll just go for a helm with lots of life
i dont think pskulls would help either because melee duels are pretty quick

i guess i'll go for max/ar/life scs but those are gonna be hard to get =\

the thing is i gotta decide between ias and damage...
so its between
shael'd crowbill with more speed but i'd have to hel one of the sockets since theres 2 extra sockets
or
honor with more damage but a lot less speed and i'd have to sacrifice stats

both are pretty easy to get... i guess i'll just have to experiment

i could also try to get a zeal scepter... but a 3 os one would be hard to find and i cant find an ias table for zealing sorcs...

Its an IAS table for zealing characters using passion. However passion has 25 % ias built into it, so you'll need to add extra to maintain the frames that they have. Anyways, its the only thing like it that I could manage to find.

If I'm reading it right, the fastest zeal you can get is a 6 frame one, with 70 ias. So you'll need to do a 2 x shael'd Zeal scepter + Death gloves to hit it, or Shael + Twitch + Death, in the event that you get one socket.

i'll try to find one of those, then i can get 6 fps instead of 10

problem is if i buy it from a vendor, the ilvl is like 1 or something so i only get one socket

No worries, magic items socket randomly, regardless of ilvl.

50/50 shot of 1 or two sockets.
