Im just starting LLD and after a failed attempt at a lvl 18 rabies druid I want to make a LLD that can kill but isnt too expensive. I was thinking something along the lines of a zon, assasin or pally. Any sugestions?

BTW I tried to sign up for the forum yesterday but I still havent gotten an activation email. How long is it suposed to take?

Ummm id go with a caster.. something that doesnt require pure dmg.

Id go with a sorc...

zealot is the easiet to make, and the strongest at a cheap price

maxed twitchthroe
deaths gloves/belt
sanders boots
honor 'knout'
maxed ed/ar (55+/100+) paladin shield
maxed death mask
angelics rings/amulet

figure out your skills at d2skills.com. look at conc/zeal/sacrifise

as for your email, check your junkmail/delete folder, it might have been sent there. some people have had this problem, where their email views it as junk, so it sends it to one of those folders.

I wouldnt go with voices unless u have enough mola for the jewels.. but if u want something easy alls u need is a peasant crown, viscedraunt, shard,
eye of eltch. and u got a caster.

for a zealot u need alot of jewels for your twitch, your 4 sock shield,your helm.

Thanks, the email was in my junkmail folder. Are LLD necros hard to make? I found a necro head the other day with +3 Bone Spear, +1 Amp Damage, +1 Corpse Explosion, 2 socets, lvl 18 requirement. Is that worth anything or worth useing?

yea. viceratuant works on necros/druids/paladins too. Rolling Eyes

every caster wants a shard, including sorcs, even though +2 tree 20fcr orbs are common. sojs arent important at all for casters. and those 15life/12mana scs grow on trees, and are by FAR less expensive than 15 life plain scs.

15 max jewels, hell even 14-13 max jewels arent uncommon, nor costly. you need a total of 8 15max jewels for a zealot, and you could get that for the cost of the 2 sojs your caster will use, and the rest are findable peices from cows and low lvl sets that arent worth anything major.

basically, if you want to make an expensive character, yea, make a caster.

nosferatu, other than that damn throw barb you like to talk about almost every thread, what other LLDs do you have? what level are they? are they hell rushed? what type?

edit: its worth making a 'rhyme' out of. if you plan to make a necro, this is the gear youll want for starters:

umes lament
'rhyme' head
+skill necro ammy (+1 necro, +2 pb)
magefist
string of ears
sanders
vipermagi
sojs
pcrown

as you can see, its a little more expensive than a zealot.

Well the thing is that I have pretty much every piece of equip you mentioned already without tradeing and I have nothing for a Pally. I never thought of makeing a rhyme, that would be pretty good but wouldnt splendor be better for a necro?.

what level are u looking at makng a lld?

are u west/east/ L/ NL ? please update your profile to include your location

if u build a non +dmg lld you cut out a big cost in lld, however casters do require some choice good gear to make elite.

it all depends on what gear you have readily available. i was exclusively a vllder until i happened across one of the best cold sorc orbs i have ever seen and now i have a level 30 blizz sorc. i had most of the other gear on random mules. 15 life scs were decently easy to come by, i just offered vita (16 to 20 life) scs for multiple sustenence scs (11 to 15 though i wanted 14s and 15s only). it gave a chance to other people to upgrade their life scs and for me to get up to 6x 15 life scs for one 20 life sc.

splendor is above level 30 (40something) and if you were to use one, that would be mid level dueling, not low level dueling. if you had all the gear for a caster, you should have said so in your first post.

however you mentioned zon/assassin/paladin. other than trappasin, the most common of those characters arent casters. since you said you wanted to make a paladin, i suggested a build for a zealot.

so i dont understand the point of this thread. you say you have all the gear for a necro, so make a necro (pretty simple answer?). Rolling Eyes
