Lets say I have a point in potion find on a barb and im in the middle of a duel.
If I used it on a guy around me and got a potion would it be illegal to pick it up and use it?? It is a skill and the other opponent would have a chance of getting it also.
Tell me what you think.

IMO i still consider it just as bm as using 1 in a belt slot

You shouldnt really use the monsters for anything once a duel has started. Leech, charge up from, revive, poison explosion, find potion etc...

Theres a bigger difference to it, You are allowed to pop up a potion, but part of your skill doesn't say you can pick up a potion. Thus it is a 3rd party Duel item, so it is not legal....

You guys are so negative, heres why I asked.
1.Its a skill why not use it?
2. Your opponent has a chance to get the potion also.
3. It would be funny as hell.

I understand that potting is against the rules Just wanted some feedback, it is a SKILL that just seems like it should be used.

Pat, I agree with you. I can use my cleansing Pally to heal life, Necromancers can (currently) recast Bone Armor in the middle of deals to in essence heal their life, ES sorcs with crazy Warmth are basically healing life... why can't the Barb use his equivalent life replenish skill?

I actually think this is valid. Potting isn't allowed in duels, for good reasons, but using a character skill to replenish life is accepted. If the character skill manifests a potion, how is that different than switching to cleansing to heal or recasting Bone Armor and adding +200 or so physical absorb however many times you want?

Not that I'm ever going to make a Find Item barb, but I would tip my hat, grab my charger, and bring righteous indignity to anyone who tries to NK you.

Surely you could just use any char you like to go and kill some monsters and drink any pots they drop then?

Or could you "pre-buff" it by just getting a load pots in advance?
