not trying to be offensive in any way here, but honestly, why does this site need this many moderators for such a small site? 1 moderator alone could handle this site, let alone 1 for east and one for west. Let alone one for east, one for trade forums, one for dueling forums, one for west, admin on west. It's just not needed! I had noticed no problems in any of this site's sections, before forsaken waas a mod, before rampage wasa mod, before bx was a mod, and before voices was a mod. everything was fine then, everything is fine now too, but i'm just saying if it's fine either way then what's the point of having so many? I know you can say that the mods have lives and they can't spend all day on the forum and such, but if there were 2 moderators here... it would take a 10 minute checkup 3 times daily to keep the site running fine, with 2 mods. Anyways, that was just a question I had always wondered but never asked, and now that there's yet another mod I figured I'd give asking a shot, because I'm genuinely curious.
edit: i was afraid i might have sounded like a jerk somehow, i don;t know how but i dunno? but just for added reassurance that I'm not complaining about the number of mods or about their work, I like all of the moderators! I have no problem with any of them and I think they do great jobs and all that, I just really can't see why we need so many!!!

it takes me over an hour to check over the entire site, daily. its gotten to the point where i only look at 25-50% of the threads in the trade forums, because it takes just too much time.

we made steve a mod to run the tournements forum and run the ladder events. thats 1 less thing sean/david/myself have to do now.

we made forsaken the trade mod, so every trade thread wouldnt go unnoticed, and sean/david/myself wouldnt have to read through them.

i have been called to east to help people transfer multiple times. havnig another mod on east will help with that area also.

not only that, but having a bigger staff might help us grow in community size..

and it is true. we all do have lives. having a bigger staff means we can also enjoy them.

points taken, but when i come online, I only see between 5-20 new threads everytime. once in a blue moon like 25-30, almost never. seems like that could easily be done by the 3 people already modding. Anyways I wouldn;t know because I've never tried it obviously so I'll take your word for it that it;s hard work, i guess.

factor in around 20 noob posts per every 5 hrs...
keeping it as clean as they do, that means logging in every 5 hrs and cleaning up a mess...

i can see how it would get frustrating.

i'm lucky to come on these boards more than once a day. those days when i get on only once, it's a daunting task to sift through over a page of trade threads on top of the rest of the forum.
