Can I trade fg for a grush or to have people find items for me at jsp because I hate that site?

I'm going to say "yes", so long as it's only an LLD rush. If it's a high level rush, we'd be against that. No on this one. If you want someone to shop on another site for you, work that out on your own. However, you could be slick and offer fg for an item you know is on d2jsp (i.e. "XX fg offer for 80 +life 3os ancient plate"), and leave it up to someone to provide you the item, whether they have it, or can buy it themselves from another site.

I know that's a kind of nuanced position, but what I'm basically saying is:

"I will offer FG for XX item on d2jsp" will get locked, because we're not in the business of facilitating trades from other sites.

"I will offer FG for this specific item" is fine, because you're asking for a specific item, and technically it can come from anywhere. (Posting an outside link to jsp would not be encouraged.)

That make sense?

Makes sense... but if I'm ISO a grush for my MLD, I can't get a grush... that sucks.

Couldn't you do grushes still since thats just bring a char from norm to hell mode? The char could still be level 1 Razz

My thought was that you can rush all you bloody well want, so long as the character doesn't end up over level 30. So in my mind the dividing line is the character level, and nothing else.

This is where it is not possible to fully enforce, granted, we would hope for the honor system to take place and that the rush is for a lld character.

perhaps plans for the character could be shown to prove one's honesty? i'd say gear too but that might be excessive or overbearing...

Eh. Honestly, I'm not super concerned here. Frankly, I wouldn't care if it was a full 1-99 rush, but as we are an lld site, we have to keep things nominally lld-oriented. If we allowed services for non-llds to be traded here people would begin arguing for other non-lld things to be traded.

So, even though it's an unenforceable (and kinda silly) line it's a line we nevertheless have to draw. But even though it's silly, the alternative would be to ban service trading outright, and I don't think anyone's in favor of more stuff being banned around here. Wink
