Just want to ask, if it would work. Would it do enough dmg?
~ Fire damage: 87 - 101 (ø94) for firestorm and
~ Damage: 26 - 37 (ø31.5) + Fire damage: 44 - 63 (ø54) for molten boulder (calculated)

My friend made one of these, and it was surprisingly effective. Unfortunately, Hotspurs can cripple the build.

Luckily hotspur are not allowed in arena if I remember correct +% max resists am I wrong?

For Arena, it is now changed that you are not allowed any +% Maximum res items. It used to be only allowed one item per element.

often when creating a character i think to myself "will resistances totally nerf this char's dmg?" and a lot of times i come to the conclusion "yes" so i rarely ever make any casters, but they work because not everyone walks around totally stacked on resistances.

ive heard of lvl 9 boulder druids and lvl 12 fissure druids, both are very strong builds due to the lack of ranged chars at that level

is a firestorm druid not viable? it seems like with a much lower mana cost and comparable dmg that it should work.

I'd imagine you'd be running/walking away during the cooldown. Both boulder and firestorm will deal little damage, the knockback on the boulder may well save you taking a hit whilst casting however.

we all know that fissure works and is effective, but all the molten boulder users i've seen are very easy to avoid because it moves sooo slow.

I remember almost getting my arse kicked once on my zealer from a lvl 15 moulten boulder druid.. they are great vs melee imo.. but cant kill ranged to save their lives.
