Yeah, I was following this a week ago. (It was all the rage on the Mass Effect boards at GameFAQS and Bioware.) I believe after 4 of her 5 books' ratings got trashed at Amazon they reset a few. But not all.

you should all know that Fox news is not really news.. its commentary.
this is probably one of the biggest tragedies to befall journalism
its why the daily shows producers describe their success as the result of others failure.

it provides viewer expected bias under the guise of reporting, however its intent and actual bottom line is controlled by required profit, it is to feed the viewer what they want, not what they need. so it appeals to a demographic not for the purpose of fact.

it is sad, the regulation made news operate in the "public interest," and the public interest is entertainment not really news.

note that the BBC standard for objective reporting blocks Fox news(UK) from export, while Al Jazeera (yes the Arab news source described as vicious and inaccurate by the current administration) is, due to a larger objective goal.

Al Jazirah > fox news...
i hope the gravity of such a reality is not missed here.

This is the second time something like this has happened in as many weeks. Penny Arcade linked to some other guy who had criticised Mass Effect and told a load of lies about how it was depraved and it got thousands of comments in a few hours and has since been removed.
