Summon/Poison Hybrid |

I've been playing on my BvC for a while now and I've gotten quite good at him. However, there's just something missing. I can crush pubs with him, but...
I can't crush their hopes.
SO! I'm thinking of making this character. Tell me what you think!
Summon/Poison Hybrid, inspired by the 'lich lord' build.
Skill allocation:
1 into all summon tree minus fire golem. Max mages + mastery.
1 into all curses that lead up to lower resist.
1 into teeth + CE. Max poison explosion + nova. Rest into dagger.
Gear:
Hat: Smexy rare circlet (I have this already )
Armor: Enigma
Weapon: hoto flail OR dweb (idk bps+res vs -50% pr+facet?)
Shield: SS eld'd (max block) + um'd darkforce or something
Gloves: TRANGS, FOO!
Belt: Arachnidmesh
Boots: Marrowwalks (for summons!)
Amulet: idk maras or something gay like that
Rings: SOJS or w/e
Charms: Torch+Anni+mix of graverobbers and P/B's
Cta+Spirit switchoff ya
Basically you get a full army of skeles, mages, revives, and tele around with either an insight merc or golem and crush everything with spells and stuff.
I was thinking of using a thorns merc w/ infinity + insight golem
OFC you raise a few big revives to make your army a blob.
-vs Hammadins (the biggest problem in pubs LOL)
LR + tele around and shoot off the occasional nova while your mages kick the crap out of that rando... vs synch do the same =\
-vs Vindicators (second biggest problem in pubs)
Lol.
-vs V/T (most ppl aren't smart enough to do this though tbh)
There is no way they will nl you to smite you, so they'll just have to run away and use the /T side. However, the chances that FotH will hit are very slim since you have over 30 minions. Also, the chances are that they will lag very badly due to your novas and minions that they'll be able to do practically nothing. Just play real offensively.
-vs Zealots (I think I have seen ~2 of these in pub duels... anyways...)
They're pubs. IM them and stand next to them. You won't even need SS.
-vs Barbs (in general)
IM + SS and there will be no barb that will be able to beat you. None. If they think they'll just use berserk, then they'll be dead before they can get through 2 of your minions. =\ In my experiences, barbs suck bad vs builds like this, even if you don't use IM. As mentioned, though, this is supposed to crush characters AND hopes, so just play BM and crush everything in sight.
-vs Bowazons (lol most zons just TG so NP)
SS + telestomp = dead, k?
-vs CS/FC Zons (I can't believe that "FC Zon" is a term...)
Tgods since most of them aren't legit. Teleport on top of that fag and smash them.
-vs Necros
Lag + LR + Nova, any questions?
-vs Sorcs (another problem in pubs)
See "-vs Necros". Most sorcs suck real bad anyways so NP.
-vs Druids
Last I checked, poison damage is not elemental. Tele around and shoot off the occasional nova. Since they have to be next to you to attack (I am not counting anything but wind druids because any other build isn't good), your nova will rip through them.
-vs WW Sins
Even though they have max res pretty much all the time regardless of -res and have PLR, they'll NEVER be able to hit you. Because of their fade, ignore LR totally and just IM them. If they don't have enigma, decrep them and laugh your head off as they die while they use dragon flight or run away.
-vs Trappers (ANOTHER problem in pubs)
Throw on tgods and LLLLAAAAAGGGGG them!
I think that covers everything! Any suggestions?

well dang looks like you just stole my next hld build haha, but yeah looks great, the only thing that i'm going to be doing different is using a perm storm circ instead of a maras try and hit one of the higher fcr bps

Kickers will destroy you instantly. Dtail = death to all skeles when you tele on me. My kicker had 8.7k dtail with 1 pt in it.
(not that you'll really ever see any decent kickers...)

odds of that ^ happening is slim to none lol but i have trouble with these every time i see em, only time i've ever killed one is with a trapper and i got lucky with nl

I have made this build before. Very versatile. I would suggest on max magis because they do most dmg and a lot of people would use antidotes/treks magis can drain ppls sorceress lifes in 4-5 seconds and 8-15 in teeth would help alot Trappers are really hard for this build because they always have a lot of frw and they dodge your pnova Good Idea to get 125 fcr. I think your mages should do about 1.7k dmg x 15 try to get rid of the psns they suck.
I wouldnt use switch items that would make your bp gone just ber your items
and get as much dr as possible

i to have had one. He was great, and i could kill almost everyone save 200 fcr fire sorcs (they splash and have crazy range).
Also you SHOULD get one point into fire golem. If you lower resist them, hit them with 1 nova while they are camping town then summon a fire golem on them then another one, it pops the old one and does damage (kills them from town with a golem)
Also i would recommend a 2/2 Deaths Web. It will add a nice ammount of damage to your psn nova. and the - res comes in handy.
Def get skeles + summons + revives(immunes if possible) as they tank damage and deal a small amount. They also put characters like amazons in stun lock with their dodge animation.
This is a very fun character, and i wish i still had it. I was planning on making a lvl 49 version but i havent gotten around to it...i havent played in months.

also a contribution you might make is use fire golem as well - it's holy fire aura kills when your psn takes them down to 1 life
also i would use a conviction merc with a bramble & holy freeze

the aura pulse doesnt do much. If you got an act 1 merc with Ice Dream and Dragon/fort armor then the pulse would do something. Conviction doesnt lower the poison resistance, and is kind of a waste of an aura in this case.
Also if you have an act 1 merc they dont run into things like hammers and nados. They stay on top of you.

Right now I made 1 with
Infinity and a 2xdream and hoj and dragon act3 mercs
I use the infinity for my summons cuz they kill fast
^^
I use act3 merc Fire type to take out druid wolfs with fball and aura
I do about 10k dmg enuf to kill 3,500 life

I've got one. It didn't live up to my hopes, at all.
I built one with Maxed mages/mastery, Maxed Nova and one synergy, with one point in everything that matters, in addition to a dream, bramble, infinity merc.
Despite being maxed, mages suck. One fireball will destroy them all. Infact, 1-2 anything will destroy them all. In addition to that, Nova isn't really that strong. You'll probably get around 5-6k damage, and even with a 10k damage nova + LR, it still takes more than 1 nova to get certain chars down to 1 life.
Lets not forget antidote pots...
I also got tired of summoning after awhile.
Using lag and summons isn't something you can count for, all the time in duels. Infact it's not hard for me to find someone's name in a mass of summons. I haven't met one summon/psn or pnb necro I couldn't kill.

btw.. fire sorcs rape psn necros.. as long as they don't get hit.. so, that means that whoever hits first wins.. fireball splashes.. so as long as they're not stupid & use firebolt.. they will usually win.. its easier for them to hit you than for you to hit them..
i can attest to this.. my mld 58 fire sorc absolutely trounced 3-4 summon/psn necros this week.. didn't stand a chance...
i can only imagine how badly a summon/psn necro would lose against a 200fcr fire sorc
