Well, i've been engaged since April 07 and i plan on being married May 08.. im happy as can be with this lady, and things feel well.. so my story continues as I was going through my fiancial situation, wich is looking pretty good, and i was wondering... How expensive is a wife?! Now i know answers may differ, but.. some of the basics of a wife that i havent realised are out there, i was just looking for opinion, feedback, experience on this kind of stuff... where better than lld101!?! so for anyone that is married, engaged, WAS engaged/married.. anything you guys (or girls) have... would be appreciated...

(im only doing this because i need to know! The losers in my shop have nothing but negative things to say about women and how they've been done wrong... i do stress the term LOSERS)

33 years here with the same woman..they come to you in one of three catagories..low, med or high mantainance...If your bride to be is low maintainance (requiring little in monitary outlay) then that is a good start for both of ya..If its med maintainance then you had better have a good job..and if its high then you need to be in the 6 figures fast..
3 things to remember..
#1 you never have to remember the truth
#2 discuss all cash outlays with one another..(major financial matters)
#3 never go to bed mad at each other..u wake up as strangers
#4 marrage is not always 50-50..sometimes its 60-40 sometimes its 99-1. at times you have to carry the emotional load and sometimes she has to carry it..Its rarely equal..
#5 substitute the word "ours" for the word "mine"..she will love you for that..
(and if you screw around on her..never..NEver..NEVER!!! EVER allow her to find out)
BTW..May 8th is my birthday..easy to remember your anniversary Very Happy
