I think you need to rethink the weapon choice.

Im testing weapons out for him, I want to see which can do the best speed wise and damage wise. But I didnt ask for weapons choice, I asked for a shield choice.

I was thinking if I went with death, I would jewel up my gear with alot of 15 ias 40 ed jewels, and get fast attacks with high ds and damage.

off-weapon ias doesnt work. you're gonna need a faster weapon. as for shields, sanc hyperion is usually a good choice, or an atsod

Off weapon IAS does not affect IAS in werewolf form.

Looks like you need weapon advice...

a good lvl 59 fury weapon would be an eth oath scourge or grief pb. both hit 5 frame i believe. and both hit very hard.

as for a shield. if your vs. pure melee. i'd go with either a atod or a jmod with shaels/damage jewels. druids have crap block rates so throwing a shael or 2 in the shield can help alot. Gerkes isnt bad, but lacks FBR

if your vs. casters with the shields, your gonna need sanctuary. troll or tower are both good choices.

Sanct Trolls Nest would be your best choice I think by far.

Excellent Block
Good FHR
70Resistance
20 Dex
and nice defense

thats only best if your dueling casters. if its straight up melee. a atod or jmod is much better, it can hit better FBR and provide fhr/life/damage/ar (depending on what u need more)

@vansonbee:
grief pb is good, but i dont think its the best. eoath scourge has a better range and does very good damage. plus, there are a number of 4frame weapons available at lvl 59 (cpboq for example)

You sure? Seems like you actually meant Death for the high DS and planned on the slow speed with 40ed/15ias.

Anyways... the best shield choice has been said already.

I'd be curious to see how a CPBoQ did vs a grief pb w/ same gear...I don't think that 1 frame advantage is going to make enough of a difference, especially considering how crazy grief damage is...
