yeah thats right im gunna re make my def 15lvl def smiter to classic just gonna try how good he as a pk char, i know that there arent any charms/jewels in classic and u cant sock any items wich make it a bit harder i guess but still i wanna try :)

he is going to be depending on sigons pretty much(as did my first version of my smiter do)

heres my items setup for start:
armor: sigons (yay for all mighty sigons! ill try to get rare ancient armor :) )
belt:sigons - for life/cold res and when u got 2 sigon parts it gives me +39def (def based on char lvl)
gloves: sigons - nice 10 str mod and 30% ias with 2 sigon parts
boots: sigons - nice cold res and some frw (im gunna miss ck boots >_< )
shield: sowrdback hold - nice def + 50% ow and pretty decent block
helm: sigons - mana mod isnt that bad and pretty nice def
ring1: angelic - for the nice life/life rep mod
ring2: same
amu: angelic - for even better life mod and some dtm%
weap: crushflange - the one and only option for me (imo better than gnasher) for the huge str bonus(15) and 33% cb

for the armor i will prolly try to just get rare ancient armor with -req% mod for starter, i will try to imbue ancient armors @ lvl 15 to get better armros so i can get rid of sigons armor ^_^

and well i think i will use always ~4 sigons parts but but IF ill find better boots than sigons i will change em but i will 100% keep at least 3 sigons parts for 1 reason : 3 sigons parts = +100 def bonus wich i nee pretty much

and skill placement goes like this:

defiance: 10 (max)
smite: rest

im aiming for at least 1.5k def as for the first version but ill eventualy try to get the 2k def when i get better armor :)

i think that i dont have need for cleansing/prayer/ for my smiter in classic

and if u got any hints tips or just want to say something feel free to say it ^_^

But seriously, your build looks pretty solid. Most people on classic don't have a clue what LLD or dueling in general is.

why don't you try going with :angelic :- rings/amulet/armour... Sigons boots/belt/helm, cleglaws sword/gloves/armour.

you should end up with 1.5 -1.6k def, 35% cb- 20 slow- 20 ias with a long sword (same speed as a mace with 30ias smite)

now mix that in with charge which will probably be your last hit killer.

you get 2k ar charge with like 1-120 dmg charge with 35% cb 50% deadly... not too shabby... just don't know how classic + block works.. because the block on cleglawsshield is it's worse downfall.

classic blocking doesn't req dex, just whats shown on shield, so clegs is a no.

yah you'll probably be dueling bunches of charges so be careful, but in any other you'll proly wreck em, atleast it will embarass them.

yeah :) classic the promised land of 2handed chargers :p but but iv also noticed something while playing classic the items have usualy +x-xx dmg added any possibility that u can find better vlld items when they have x-xx dmg added? and u can gamble/find nice 9lvl amus from monsters also in classic any1 else noticed this? as for 9lvl amus i gambled +5dex/5life rep/6life/14ar and some reis amu lvl req 9 and friend found +5str/21ar/life rep/life amu lvl req9

idk bout the x-xx dmg added, but yes, classic mods rox.
and that is why classic is the promiseland for any smart pvp.

2 hand chargers get pwnt by lvl 21 cs zons, and 1 hand chargers.

hmm im having some major problems in gettin cruhflange and swordback hold :\ any ideas where to look for? so far iv made lots of normal/nm/hell mephi runs and lots of normal diablo runs (along with mephi) and also tried lots of andy runs in normal :\ should i try normal cows?

ps: trading is not an option since we are after all talking bout europe classic >_< and beleave me no1 keeps that kind of stuff in there all they can see is supar ed% martel or super ed% bh >_<

Blah ~ everyone still clueless on classic llding it seems. But, i've cried enough over that on this site so I'll leave that be. (chargers are some of the least used lld's on classic past lvl 12)

If your making a cheap lld and you want him as a smiter then dsm was the closest with his suggestions

Helm: 3ruby mask (flawed or regular or w/e depending on your lvl) or
Biggins
Armor: Angelics
Ammy: Angelics
Rings: Angelics
Weapon: Clegs sword
Shield: Clegs
Gloves: Clegs
Belt: Harsus (good bonus with boots) / deaths for cold sorc
Boots: Harsus

-Openwounds is pointless to aim for as your dmg from it will be neglible at best at your lvl (12-15)
-Full clegs gives: slow%, knockback, deadly strike, solid charge dmg, and most important 33%cb
-Angelics: +1skills, dtm, attack rating, life.

If your concerned about block% on clegs...don't be. 5strikes from your smite will knock even level 30's to half life and then a little luck with charge deadly strike and max dmg gives you the kill.

All my experience in lld is from classic so...ya... if your looking for suggestions in classic on this site pm me.
