Good shield for lvl30 Nec?

I found this on a merc. I had this charc when I first started playing Diablo. It does not have FCR, but the life and 2 skills seem nice. Should I soc it with an:

ITH for DTM
SHAEL for FBR
P.Dia for Resist

I have a 14/6dex jewel, but curious why that jewel? Will the dex help me that much?

Srry Zig it's a keeper. Very Happy I started looking back at all my stuff, and found this. I've played D2 a long time, and started PvP because beating the game got old. Then LLD caught my eye, and I'm hooked. Then I realized some of the stuff I've been selling to Charsi was actually Godly. I have alot of mules, but now I'm stating to move all the LLD stuff to one acct. I want to make a LLD necro(and others) and thought this might be good , but was not sure. Glad to see that I didn't chuck this!

But a shael or 9 Dex jewel in it because vs most chars this shield isn't as good as a 2 pnb/3 spirit shield.

It's an .08 visceratuant. I have one too. It's a great lld nec shield, though the blocking is pretty bad, and the +skills are not as good as a 2/3 for instance. But the life boost is nice.
