ooh i just shopped a tower shield of deflecting and used the socket quest on it. I only got two sockets but that ain't bad!
i still want a 3 socket though.

actually now that i think about it, what are my chances of using the socket quest on a plain tower shoeld of deflecting and getting 3 sockets?
i shopped the shield with a level 91 and it was ilvl96

well 2 sockets is max on magic items from larzuk, id say you wasted a socket quest -.-
try norm anya with a lvl 35 char?

anya sells towers? i think she has gothics and bones and thats it? sometimes spiked?
towers are real hard to find in abundance.
i think veit said nm charsi might have them a lil better.. but reather then putting 2-3 on the screen u only get 1

Gheed in Act 1 Hell sells lots of tower shields. Usually at least 3 per screen. As far as the optimal level to be in order to shop one, I'm not sure. I manaed to shop a number of ARTISAN'S tower shields of XX but not of Deflecting with my level 92 Paladin.

Well, i can say that shopping act 1 hell with a high level character works well. I just shopped one of these in 1 hours time with a level 92 hammerdin from Charsi. Nice thing was I could do both Gheed/Charsi shopping before refreshing the shop, giving me usually around 5-10 tower shields each time, which really helped my chances. Of course you could shop all day long and all week long without spawning these exact two mods on the same shield, it is all a matter of luck. However, I also shopped some +3 Bow / 20 IAS gloves and a Jeweler's Full Plate Mail of stability BOTH of which I also shopped a previous time when attempting to shop a Artison's Tower Shield of Reflecting, so that is an interesting cooincidence.

yea you never seem to find what you are looking for when shopping. i been shopping norm anya for visionary bone of sun for couple days and i found 3 vbsods

Vulpine bone sheild of deflecting, I think. Damage taken to mana and the better blocking, used mostly on level nine characters.

Oh my... that is worth something? When shopping for an artisan's I came across a Vulpine Tower Shield of Deflecting but didn't buy it... not sure of the level req.

tower vulpine deflectings aren't much, the str req is mucho high.
