Alright, i've gotten bored of my other toys and wanna' jump back into Diablo for another run with one problem; it keeps locking up.

After playing for I guess 5-15 minutes it freezes up, closes the game and this message pops up;
Diablo 2 exception:
Unhandled Exception

Priv_Instruction(c0000096)

How can I stop get rid of this....I need my fix! Embarassed

usually reinstalling the game fixes that for me.

I half-figured it out...how to get around it really.

I can't stay out of channels for too long, if i'm in a game it works perfectly.

I had this problem before. I reinstalled D2 and bought a new cdrom. It was funny D2 would never crash untill it needed the cd to load a scene like when you kill Shenk.
