its not the "birth ratios" that make China have more boys than girls. the birth ratios are jsut about even, just like anywhere else where there is reproduction. its the "surviving child ratios" that make China have more boys. boys in China are considered more valuable, since Chinese laws limit government support of families that have more than one children. when it comes down to only one, most couples would rather have a boy.

this isn't a spam forum or anything!!!...btw velocity, the 1100 boys to 3 girls is saying that china kills off their girls for the most part so they will have guys who will have jobs and be more prosperous in a sexist society.

Alright well these are kinda corny but I was experimenting with this really cool free downloadable program called Picasa2. I was pretending to make a cover for some future (yeah right Sad

) CD cover.

The program is called Picasa2 and it is located here:

You can spend SO much time just fooling around with all the effects. I was looking for a free program like this for a while but the only ones out there are free trials and you have to buy the product if you want to be able to save your picture!

Yet, I'm surprised that such a great program is available for free. In terms of spyware and such I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any since I just ran an Ad-Aware scan.
