Ed/ar/60Max pally shield(until I can jewel out my 63/121 akaran targe)
'Steel' Runeword Cutlass.

Between the IAS on Steel, Twitch, and Death's Combo, I'll have the IAS needed for a 4frame zeal. Damage and AR will be lower than with Honor, but I can make up a bit of the ar by diverting some of the saved str from NOT using an honor divine into Dex.

Charms are my current 29's charms, few max/ar/life scs, 3 max/ar/mod GCs, rest are 13-15 lifers.

Damage will be lower than a standard Honor Zealot, speed of course faster, 50% OW and 25% Crushing.. does this stand a decent chance, or do I need to really upgrade my charms before attempting this?

I've tried it once before, but that was in 09, when zeal was interruptable and all that junk. Remember, you will not be getting any huge hits in, due to lack of deadly strike, but you will be doing constant damage through open wounds. My best guess is to stay alive as much as possible. You are going to be using a +hs scepter, right? Against a same level opponent with 5000ar, every small bit of defense will help. It's a 6% difference in being-hit-chance from 200def to 500def.

As for attack rating problems, I think you should find some max/20ar small charms. One dex is 4 attack rating, so 5 dex is 20, and 5 stat points is 15 life. Grand charms and large charms are better, as they can give 76 and 48ar respectively, but sometimes, I don't like the pictures...but thats just me.

My 4 framer seemed to do ok against most melee. The one that I could not beat consitently was Grits Lvl 30 Fury Druid.

I used 3 different weapons in my experiments. A 6 Shael 15% Crowbill, 5 Shael Knout and my 70% Cutlass. The Crowbill gives you nice damge but high dex and str. Same for the Knout but it gives you range 3. The Cutlass is range 1. But requires mostly Dex. I think overall Crowbill would be my choice.

Since you need 142% IAS with Crowbill you can wear Bloods or Sanders Gloves for the extra llife.

Anyway back to the topic. I would say you will kill alot of melees but my have a tough time against Druids. I think you will do just fine with what you got.

One more thing do not go the Blessed Aim route I tried it but he sucked so bad. 7000 plus Ar but like 1000 damge.

yeah i went crowbill too i found a artisans armor of life is way better than a 4 socket armor

Actually, as I listed above, I'm planning on using a Steel Cutlass, 15max twitch, and death's glove for the IAS for a 4frame zeal. It'll also give me the anti-poison that's useful from death's, fhr, stats, and some damage from the twitch. The CB on the gtoes should help against druids. Should.

Thus far, it looks good to me on paper.

yea.. thats seems pretty well on paper.. and I have an descent 30 fury(Legit) and a good 29 Zealer(pubby Rolling Eyes

Ive Experimented with BA 4 Frame Zealer Before Got Pwned had to get high defence equipment to at least stand a chance against anyone who was at least Decent

Might want to upgrade your charms a bit but other than that its fine the OW and CB should be the killers in the 4 frame zeal
