 Duelers NOT to Make! |

I really like dueling, but I hate making boring, common dueling builds for HLD. Bone necro, zealer, ww barb, hammerdin, bowazon....blah. So I've made a lot of weird builds. Some worked, most didn't! Post any weirdo builds that did or didn't work for you, save the rest of us the time making them! 
Didn't work:
HLD Beast Bear Barb - not enuff defense/damage, interruptible
HLD Throwing barb - not enough damage, easily killed, hard to aim
HLD/LLD Armageddon/werebear Druid - too random, short range
PvM Tiger strike/dragon tail Asn - lots of damage, but everything on hell absorbed it like it was nothing! Too slow too.
MLD Jabazon - at that level, jab is like an inferior version of Zeal. Not enough damage.
MLD Frenzy barb - didn't do nearly enough damage, plus Frenzy is actually way too slow...same speed as norm attack at first. By the time he was charged up he was already done for.
MLD Nova Sorc - made at the beginning of 1.10...didn't realize she sucked now. Not enough damage.
Did work:
HLD Charger - maybe not too weird, but he was really fun...SMASH!
PvM summon/bone Nec - again, not too crazy but works quite well even using two skill trees!
HLD/LLD Vengeance Pally - both of 'em I made had newbish equipment, but still killed some pubs with way better stuff. Used Conviction on the HLD, Fanatacism on the LLD. Lots of potential here I think! Make sure you understand how the Vengeance damage is calculated.
I'll post more if I think of any I forgot...post your wierd builds!

Didn't work (too well):
LLD Rabies/Fury Hybrid Werewolf (not as good as a pure fury druid, but still decent, though 3K psn is negated heavily by deaths gloves)
LLD 4 Frame zealot (lower life, lower dmg, and the extra frame isn't really worth it...it can still kill, but overall I find a regular zealot is superior)

lvl 30 MB asn works but you need a lot of mana. if you have the right mana and gear it can kill a lot of stuff

You mean HLD?I made one of these, my setup is on the melee side, Grief, Fort,jalals, ss , dracs, and just use a Carrion wind ring for the Rabies synergy when you need to use it. I can beat most melee barbs and most pallies that dont have exile.

4-Frame Zealot in LLD, or what? Any old Paladin with a BotD Berserker Axe will hit 4-frames with Fanaticism active.

Don't make a speed charger.
Vigor + 3/xx/5 run walks
Idea was basically speed in, speed out, speed in, etc. Don't work good.

Yeah, sorry, I forgot to clarify. The rabies/fury and 4 frame zealot were both LLD builds.

I'm actually in the process of making a Rabies/Fury HLD right now, and I was kinda wondering why you were only doing 3000 poison damage!
