So, I was there gambling.

After 2.6 million, I haven't gotten a SINGLE rare..
BOOM.
Here pops out a nokazon?
I thought that the uniques were un-gamblable since .8 or .7..

Did they re-add it, or is it a freak thing..
I know I made alot of like "Help" posts lately, but eh.

Really small chance, but I don't think they've ever disabled it...

I vaguely remember gambling a unique back in 1.07 or so, but I'm not sure...

Clans use to have a weekly gold ammount you had to submit to them as "tax" to gamble for sojs..

Eltichs, Sojs, Twitches, greyforms, they were gambled like crazy back when you could gamble uniques on a regular basis..

But I swear hearing ti was disabled.

it was disabled in 09 as far as i know but it's back in 1.10, i gambled a cathans ring too

i read something in diabloii.net. it was this little tutorial thing on how to find sojs, and it had all the percentages and stuff. strangely enough, it also mentioned the ability to gamble sojs, and included percentages and whatnot. and this guide, it was posted under the v1.10 section

The first thing I EVER gambled in D2 was a pair of Lavagout gauntlets. That was in .09. I didn't even know it was rare to get uniques back then.

Heh last ladder session i was having a very hard time finding a pelt lunata with my mf sorc in normal... so i tried with whilst being rushed gambling a buckler in nm... and low and behold a unique buckler ^_^ heh, havnt managed to do it again tho.

Ya the other day I was gambling on lightbelts n such 2 great a cool LLD belt 4 my Sorc anyway boom a snakecord popped up and i was shocked as hell cuz i had assumed they disabled getting uniques 2 ... I geuss u can just a real ass small % maybe?

They never disabled getting uniques, the only thing they disabled was the ring and ammy order thingy. Like if you had manald heal on your character you could get nagel ring but not soj, and if you had manald heal and nagel ring then you couldnt get either of them but you could get soj. All it did was narrow down the chances of getting an soj. I used to gamble around 5-6 a week, and it work the same for mephisto. Basically they just took out our helping tool, so we have a smaller chance of getting any of the 3.

i have gambled about 4 cathans rings so far and 1 nokazon.

:1.10:

Rare : 10000/100000 = 10% (1 in 10)
Set : 50/100000 = 0.05% (1 in 2000)
Unique : 20/100000 = 0.02% (1 in 5000)
Magic : 89.93%

i think i remeber it was like 1:5k for set and 1:10k for unique in 09

I gambled a Highlord's last week.

And yah, the drop order of rings was disabled a long time ago.

It used to be: If any Uniq ring dropped, and there were no other uniq rings in the game, it would be a Nagel Ring. If a Nagel Ring was present, the game would drop a Manald Heal. If both of the rings were present, the unique ring would be a SoJ. If all three Uniq Rings were in a game, any ring that dropped as Unique, would then be dropped as a Rare.

The same used to go for Amulets. Nokozan > Mahim > Etlich.

i remember the 1st time i gambled in 1.10, i got deaths sash. never can get to many of those.
