Hey everyone...

I've been coming to these forums a lot and reading posts, but I never registered. I play Hardcore Ladder on west. Most of you guys seem to play Softcore. HC just seems more fun, even though it's over when you die. Maybe I will change my mind when I end up losing a lot of stuff that took me a while to get. I've only had one LLD that actually had LLD gear and actually did some damage, but it ended up getting killed.

Also, I like to PK. Most people think that's lame and I shouldn't ruin other people's fun. What do you guys think about it? Are you guys against it?

I have nothing right now (literally) because I just started playing again. What kind of character do you guys think would be good for dueling/pking and not be too hard to get gear for?

The main ones I've thought about are:

Level 9 Assassin
Level 18 Paladin
Level 18-30 GA Zon

Those all seem like they would be expensive though... with all the max jewels n stuff...

Which of those do you think would be best? Or maybe a different type of character?

First of all I think PKing is lame, unless you pk other pks , or you pk people that are bad...because Ive been playing HC , had fun , but when pk comes into play , the fun stops....

Altough , I think that a really good PK char for Hc should be a Charger..

I think PKing is fun, it adds to the game in my opinion as long as the PKer meets these two rules:

1) Is legit. (trigger pk is lame, tp pk is lame, etc)
2) Is a lower level or reasonable level in comparison to their prey.

Its no fun if its not sporting.

I got another question. Do you think it would be easier to mf in cows, sewers, etc for LLD stuff or to do like meph runs and trade the things I find for LLD stuff.

I never seem to find any LLD stuff... except a couple +life large charms

But it might be hard to trade for LLD stuff since not a whole lot of people have em.

you could always consider making a level 12 assassin, using iths, instead of max jewels. other hardcore players have done that, since they say its much cheaper and less frustrating to rebuild, if they die.

hmm i dunt like pk, altho i never played hc so at least i dunt lose ne thing but gold....id say however i hate alot of things (smitters, foh, necros, etc) until im the 1 doin it

a-legit
b-not higher level then them (like if your 18 and they are 17 who cares, if they r 17 and your 90 thats just wrong)

itd be a good way to get equip and gold....only prob is u would be killing ppl

a-not as good as u
b-with worse equip then u

so the gain would not be incredible

and if your not finding what your looking for, some 1 else is...so find what u can and trade it for wuw

to answer another of your questions, ga zons aren't the best, just because high mana consumption and not the best damage, but if ou're interested in it then try it, you never know.

yea i would say go with lvl 27 charger or lvl 18 chargers are easy pkin and makes it kinda fun

I would have to say that the best thing to pk with would be a level 18 paladin, because with level 9 you have to get it rerushed whenever you die and if its anything like it used to be on hc, getting a hell rush is soooo hard.

GA zons damage is kind of low, so a level 18 charger would probably be best.

kicking asns are cheap too, a lvl 25 just needs life armour helm strength talons and war boots angelics and your done.
they can tele kick then in one burst of kicks kill most players.
they run fast and are excelent hunters.

From the ones u suggested i would make a lvl 31 bowzon and prey on people in norm baal runs, its mean but fun Twisted Evil

but they can get expensive Confused

pking is fun for u not them, atleast everyone has to have a hunter or pk char. otherwise hc would be boring.

wats your acc, maybe we can duel lvl 9 asns? if u make one...

I think Pking is already WAY out of hand on HCL. It seems to me every public game I go into somebody gets TPPK'd. The worst part, is a lot of the PKers using hacks, also use Chicken hack. I just think it's pathetic that some people use an already unfair method of killing someone (who's often lower than them) and covering all of their bases by totally destroying the victims chances to defend themselves and kill the pker. If you do decide to make a PKer, you should do it legitmately, and not use any third party-BS programs.
