Well I want to make a 49 fireclaw druid, I know what charms, 10x 29 life shapeshift, 10x 20 life small charms, right? Or what else? I have a +6 fireclaw helm with some minor base life, +3 SS, +3 Fire claw +1 spirit wolf +2 fissure, thats my helm, hoping for 2 sockets so I can 5/5 it x2, so my question is what other gear do i use? and how to stat? thanks guys!

this should be in general discussion, but anyway... you want a fast weapon of course. 6 shael war axe is the norm i believe.

You can get 30life ss gcs at 49. It always helps to see what others have come up with in the past. Look here for ideas:

armor is going to be switched out depending on who you duel.

vs melee you wanna use shaft + string, vs caster you wanna use probably a vipermagi, or something else with good resists on it. belt is also gonna change, string for melee, probably a 24 fhr 50+ life + resist belt for casters.

for a shield, i'd say an AToD with 5/5's is probably best choice vs melees, and a sanc tower vs casters.

gloves: probably use bloodfists...40 life 30 fhr = not good

boots: good question. sanders, waterwalks, and aldurs are all viable choices, along with rares. its really a tossup imo. maybe stat the char to use some 30/10/res rares, and then keep sanders in the stash for some bonus ar vs melees?

I think a very important part of the build is frw. id suggest using some frw gear (like trang armor for resis/frw) or stealth (light armor) and maybe mavs belt.

Apart from that a high range weap with shaels on swich might be a good idea.

attack speed and fhr are the most important things while dueling against anything for druids. vs casters you'll want a 2 handed weapon with long range and lots of run/walk. vs melee you'll want higher ar and more def on your armor.
I forget the breakpoint for runwalk desynch, it was around 125 or so. You'll want it for dueling casters. Its been too long since i've played so I cant give any specific breakpoint or gear suggestions but you should look up them up. with those charms and the helm dont worry about getting + skills on the rest of your gear, worry about getting to those breakpoints.
