you start off as a simple, multicellular organism then begin to evolve as you want, and by the end of it you're exploring entire galaxies. you get to generate your creatures as you see fit, and the game automatically decides how a creature of that shape would walk, run, attack, mate, etc. other animals on your planet (and eventually entire other planets) are created by other people and downloaded onto your game. its a 35 minute video so i hope you dont have anything better to do. i did, but still watched it Embarassed

this is a fairly old video of the game (2005) but its the most detailed, the only differences are more streamlined interfaces and things like that

This has been in the making for I wanna say 2 years, or so. And won't be out for another year. I probably won't get it, I was going to until they changed the release date back a year. -shrug- HALO 3 IN 2 HOURS THAT'S WHERE IT'S AT BABY!

sorry, but i guess i dont follow games as religiously as you Wink the evolution aspect of it is what piqued my interested, being a scholar and all Razz

iv watched ~1hour long video about this game about 1½ years ago and i think that when it comes im gonna try it(isnt it coming next year?) cant remember anyways, im gonna try it even if it has month payment ;o

There are "evolving" Spore in real-time. Expect it to be ready in the year 834,512,463AD.

it's not actually a multiplayer game, you just need to be connected to the internet so that they can download other player's planets into your game. the computer controls them though, based on how the player played them

yeah i know, but u never know what is going inside ppls head now that WoW is kinda ruling :\
