i havent heard many bow zons being made. but, i have this amazing bow on classic that i thought might prove useful against pubbies or even you guys Smile

.

the bow is

32-112 damage
20% ias
181% ed
+11 max dmg
+256 ar
-40 req

lvl req 26
str req 44
dex req 62

armor-twitch
boots-cow kings
gloves/belt-deaths
angelic ammy/rings
helm-not sure yet...

im gonna edit a lil later with the skills.

I forgot who, but someone around here has a pretty good frw GA zon. Uses max dmg stuff instead of twitch etc though. That bow would be pretty good if you nef'd it.

I made a pub lv 31 Ga zon a while back.
I suggest u switch ck for sanders, rings you really don't need ar so why the angelic? life mabey? Helm I can't really help with my zon used a 45% ias helm lv 31. Anyway hope that helps a bit.

I have a LvL 30 Bowazon on europe :

Helmet : 45 Max 10 Fhr Grand Crown / Peasant
Armor : 79 Life 61 Max Mage Plate
Bow : 158 Dmg +2 Skills / 20 Ias / 8 Dex / -15 Reqs
Bow2 : Ashwood Bow +3 Bow / 40 Ias / 74 Max Dmg
Gloves : Death
Belt : Death
Boots : Sanders
Amulet : +1 ama / 14 dex / 21 life / prismatic
Rings : Sojs

Charms : 3max / ar / 1x life

This amazon has 1122 Maximum Damage , 7XX life , and still needs some charms....I found no used for my nef in the bow so I removed it , and Seriously I don't think knockback is that important...

This Amazon is one of the best on europe...even tough she's 30...

If you want a fast attack , go with a 5 socket ashwood bow with +3 Bow / Crossbow and max it...

Oh by the way , take care if the bow is on classic and you want to cross it over to LoD... some Prelod items get +Lvl req when you cross them over...that bow of mine was also lvlreq26 on classic , and it went 30 when crossed over...

He might be alright... yours went to 30 because of the +2 bow skills (which is level 30 req)

I'm guessing you have a harp or dart, I forgot which one. I was also thinking about making a LLD Bowazon but going only level 26 for the bow req. I have the same bow, and it sounds really good, but I want to get a good Poon and have it on switch before I make my zon. I'd say it sounds like a good LLDer though.

This is what I was going to use:

Weapon: Harp or Dart
Weapon switch: Good Harpoon
Weapon switch shield: Rare BS with deflecting and other mods
Armor: Twitch with Max Jewel
Helm: Max helm
Gloves: Deaths
Boots: CK
Belt: Deaths
Ring: Manald
Ring: Manald
Ammy: Eye of Elitch/Rare

Guided eats mana fast. So Manald for ML/Replenish mana, and + to life.

If you went to 31, which I'm thinking about, You can use Ias gear =)

If you end up making her, PM me and tell me about how she is, I'd like to know before I make her.

im making a lvl 29 ama on europe gonna use:

Bow: 80ias/20+maxdmg ashwood bow (ashwood has +3bow/15%ed superior mods)
Armor: 60+max/55+life light plate
Helm: Peasant (20+max dmg)
Amu: rare with +1ama/50+life/30+mana/10+dex
Rings: sojs i guess
Belt: Death
Gloves: Death
Boots: CK i guess (maybe sanders)

Switch: Merciless Harpoon of Butchery (95+ed/38+max) and Artisans kite of deflection (socket shael/40+max dmg)

charms: 3/5run's and 3/1xlife i guess

this is a 8fps build though... since i need the speed vs pala/sorcs i guess...

After my poison nec, poison zon, and rabies/fury druid SUCKED, I'm going to try to make a GA zon because I found a +3 ashwood bow today. I'm just curious of how you guys pick your items? There doesn't seem to be a clear cut set of items. Here's what I was thinkin;

Helm: +45 max mask
Armor: +45 max plate or twitch?
Weapon: +3 ashwood bow (socketed with what??)
Gloves: deaths or +bow/ias gloves
Boots: Sanders
Belt: Deaths
Rings: SOJ
Ammy: Some kinda +1 zon rare.

Now I'm just wondering why some people chose Twitch, and some Max plate? And how do you guys get those ridiculous stats on your bows? (Ashwood Bow +3 Bow / 40 Ias / 74 Max Dmg ). How do you get that much Max AND ias on the bow? Unless it's some godly rare...Man, it's late and I don't wanna think anymore

Yeah, I figured it was hacked. I think I'll probably go with a twitch to hit IAS breakpoints easier. Is putting a point in Valk worth it at all? Most of the time it'll be dead with a hit or two wouldn't it? And does pierce work in PVP?

Valk is level 30. and this thread is about a level 29 GA zon. But if you're going a few levels about 29, No valk. If you are going MLD, use one pt into valk, And if you are going HLD, Maxing Valk is a good idea.

Pierce doesn't work for PVP.
