I have 3 lvl 9 Jewels

14 Max
14 Max
4-12 Dmg

I was thinking of putting them in helm? would this be a waste of the 4-12 dmg jewel as someone said it was worth vex and the other 2 i got for ist

14 + 14 + 4 to 12 = 4 to 40 which is 22 average damage
3 x 14 = 42 which is 21 average damage

the first option is better in terms of max damage but personally, i'd wait for another 14, 42 max is so much nicer looking than 4 to 40 damage.

One more question, Should i use a crown for a sigons build or a mask for a bloodfists build?

use a superior mask so that you can reuse it for future builds with lower str.

Why a shield not something else? is it because shields only have 2 socks?

i was thinking more along the lines of a pelta lunata. since it can only get 1 socket, it wouldnt be a waste of the jewel. and a pelta is a pretty universal shield.

I Thought 2 socked Bone shield of deflecting (With FHR / DtM) was better than pelta

REALLY depends on your build. not every character needs a boneshield like that. ie: assassin.
