Lol buddy, iu gt 651 life and no max block how did that happen... wheres your fanta, my smiter did 657( u might be missing alot thow right? use 2 too combat helm, with 2 p rubys



657 with fant? Ya right..... Where talking level 30 here. Nice try though.


Also, the people who say you need fant have no idea on how to make a level 30 smiter.. Unless you get absolute perfect gear then fant is a horrible idea. Keep in mind, LLD is a whole lot different from HLD.

You're on the right track now Vann. Remember if you want a bit more damage I believe a barbed shield does more. Maybe if just for duels you don't need resists. A rhyme barbed or upped swordback are easy to come by.

Fana is definitely better than conc.

2offensive/3fana/amp/2shael scepter.

Save 8 skill points for whatever you like: holy freeze/charge/...

Well Im thinking for an ultimate/perfect gear pala with awesome prebuf gear fanat is the best option, but without it I think Conc is by far the more superrior build. I still believe the range 3 smiter will always be superior to the range 2 smiter so I always opt for the 5 shael flail/twitch combo over the pick axe etc. But then again Im a lvl 29 user. Tho I havnt lost to any other smiter 34 and under.

Fana is better than conc in anycase.

Even an relatively easy 2 or 3fana/amp/40ias scepter is better than conc build. Slightly lower damage but anytime amp cast you win. Not to mention if both party use DR gears, in which case, amp almost always have time to cast thus fana build always win.

If you want range 3 with flail on conc build, you will need death belt/glove combo. On the otherhand, same flail but with fana, you can use bfist and SOE for 40life/30FHR/15%DR, which again, beats conc build.

Also, fana build (with 6 points in Holy freeze) can also use 100ias flail, death combo to have 6frame range 3 smite and Holy freeze active, to fight runners, or ww barbs, fury druids (Holy freeze slow ww and fury moving speed so smite can hit more), which again beats a conc build.

Now if anyone still want to make a conc smiter, go ahead please.

Helm: Peasant Crown + P Emerald
Armor: 30 res vmagi (will get a 35 Razz)
weap: 6 Shael Military Pick
Shield: ill get a pic up soon Very Happy
Gloves: Upd Bloodfists
Boots: Upd Goblin Toes
Belt: String of Ears
Rings: 2x Soj
Ammy: Eye of Etlich

Switch = 2x Spirit.

Charms.
39x 15 life sc (some with useless mods)
1x 3 all resistance sc (totally pointless)

Currently have a Rhyme barbed shield in stash (little better for smite vs smite) an Upd Swordback as well, and Bsnap to have fun with charge. Razz as well as a spirit shroud.

Skills:
Smite-20 (26 with bonuses)
Holy Shield-7 (13 with bonuses)
Concentration-7 (13 with bonuses)
Defiance-1 (7 with bonuses)
Fanat-1 (7 with bonuses)

By putting that 1 into fanat, ive proven that Conc IS BETTER for lvl 30 smiter. This build is very good. I have killed lvl 80+ trapsins, lvl 70+ sorcs, lvl 65+ pallys, lvl 70+ barbs, lvl 80+ necs, lvl 65+ druids, and lvl 50+ zons.

Ignore anyone who says to use fanatacism.

It is like a level 30 hammerdin set up. I think you should use death belt and death gloves. Use upped Twitchroe (You get 10 to dexerity and strength. Also you get 20% faster attack speed and 25% increased chance for blocking) or Rattlecage (Has 25% Crushing Blow). Use fanaticism as your main and only aura (The only reason smiters use this aura is because the aura increases your attack speed and damage). For a weapon, use a crushflange (Gives 15 strength and 33% Crushing Blow, 6 socketed war axe or military pick with 6 shaels for more increased attack speed. For your shield, I'd go with the rune word "Rhyme" in a spiked shield or bone shield, or a 2 to paladin combat skills spike shield. Use Angelic Wings (Angelic amulet) and Angelic Halo (Angelic rings) instead of Angelic Wings (Angelic amulet) and Manald Heal (Manald rings) for the 115 life and 10 to dexerity bonus. For your helm, I think Peasant Crown is perty alright. For your boots, I think Cow King Hooves, Goblin Toe (This gives you 25% Crushing Blow), Sander's Riprap (This is for if you can't fnd Cow King Hooves), and Tearhaunch. You should always have Crushing Blow on any smiter.Mr. Green

do not use tearhaunch, as the +vigor is pointless since you will be using concentration (and the skill adds do not increase the syngery damage to other skills) you should use goblin toe for % crushing blow (very crucial in a smiter)

Unless they want vigor to increase their speed when dealing with running characters, or when they're partied and someone is already using conc.

I think you should remake into a increased attack speed smiter. Maybe you should try using a "Spirit" shield for smiting (Never made a level 30 smiter before).
