ive been reading Chuck Palahniuk books

if you've seen the movie "Fight Club" and liked it, id highly recommend his books to you (considering he was the one who originally wrote the novel "Fight Club" which got turned into a movie)

The book fight club is better than the movie

i also read Diary - which i found good

Lullaby - which was interesting and more fantasy like out of the others

Survivor - which was a really entertaining satire on society

i also heard Choke was amazing as well, and as good if not better than fight club, but i havent gotten around to reading it through yet

if you want something with a bit of a darker tone, and something that will make you think, i strongly recommend his books to you

Easy reads: Raymond E. Fiest (Really easy to read and go through them much to quickly)

Medium: Robert Jordan (Decent and Epic story)

Advanced: Thomas Covenant series (forgot the name/ author) But was a hard slog to read, but once your in its quite a consuming. Rather depressing at times.

@Aqua Who authors those other 2 series you mentioned? I might look them up later aswell if i havnt already read them.

Raymond E. Fiest is a decent author, but yeah, a very easy read. The Shannara series by Terry Brooks is also a good but easy read.

The Sword of Truth series is by Terry Goodkind, and the Runelords is by David Farland.

I absolutely love Terry Goodkind, the Sword of Truth series is my favorite series of books ever, lol.

Close second and third would be Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series and Jacquelin Carey's Kushiel's Chosen series (kushiels avatar, kushiels chosen, kushiels scion, etc..)

Also kinda got into Jean M. Auel's Clan of the Cave Bear series of books here lately as well. They're decent reads.

This seems to be branching off into a general Sci-Fi book recommendation list, so I'm going to throw one out there.

Terry Pratchett - Small Gods

Funniest book I have ever read in my life. Never has there been written a better personification of an angry turtle.

Imo the WoT is better than SoT because the plot in the WoT is so much more complex. The WoT world is HUGE, and the magic system is very complex but practically limitless. You can never tell what is going to happen next. Though I would say that SoT is the second best fantasy series I've read. But that's just me.. Razz
