Oh jeez...
His name is Maslain. I have fought him, I heard many good things about him, I have not viewed his gear but he told me what it is, and it's the same you say it was.
He's a great guy. He treats everyone with respect, he doesn't whine when he loses (I've yet to see him lose, he's uber godly), and he's a great match.
If I remember correctly, he does 1.1k with his bone spirit, he has around 1.5k life, and his skills are powerful. View above on metiou msg for gear info.
Woe to those who dare face Maslain!

yeah he's going all godly with that life..when I made a lvl35 necro I made it with spear since I thought spirit is just lame with targeting. ended with 1170 spear damage but I'm not using the best of charms for life. oh well, have yet to see that necro in duels games.
I'd duel him if he had 1K life...1500 life is way too much for me to compare to yet.

And he is most likely hell rushed...or at least past nm...
And I dunno about 1.5k life at lvl 35...even if he is a vitamancer (no block)
If I used my 08 visc on my lvl 30 necro and remade with no block, I could get at least 1100 life, norm rush only, no baal. 5 levels and a hell rush is not going to add 400 life to a necro...more like 100.

Well geez man I could be wrong! But I'm definately sure it's very very high life. And his skills are strong. A barb in another pubbie game commenting on my bad necro said, and I quote: "Have you met Maslain or Reetmo yet? (Reetmo is another lld I've yet to meet, 30 necro) Maslain is very strong. I couldn't even hurt him with my WW"
Lvl 85 barb with tuff gear. Watch out for Maslain.
Spazz, go sorcie, even if you won't be hurting him. Meleers are just asking to die.

I want to go through and possibly pick up your charms after seeing em. Also... if you want an idea for a better 29 zealot.. I've got one. Knarl semi-stole my idea and his new zealot pwns.

I had considered it before, but I thought it wouldn't do enough dmg so I never made it. Put you suggested the max dmg armor which I hadn't considered before.

If you still actually have him, I'd want to take a crack at him again with my 29 zealot

I, myself, actually created a lv36 Necromancer on USEast (I like the number 36)... The build I completely thought up on my own, but as I began to duel more often, I got more ideas from others on equipment... Something like this:
Peasant Crown
+2 P/B Ammy
White +3 BS Wand (Still don't have yet, using one without BS)
Skin of the Vipermagi
Rhyme +3 BS Shield (Still don't have yet, using Sigon's... Ugh.)
Magefist
The Stone of Jordan x2 (Still don't have yet : )
String of Ears
Sander's Riprap
Currenty I do nearly 900 damage Bone Spirit, 460 Bone Armor absorb, around 400-500 life, and around 300-400 mana.
I've been able to kill characters ranging from lv80-90... Obviously, I can't kill some of the better high-level duelers.
I've found out that Teleport successfully renders the Bone Prisons useless; they are critical to this build. I do understand that the prison is not required, but it is hard to do without. Others may be traps and/or damage auras, which break the prisons as soon as they are cast.
Also, I have a tough time with Blizzard Sorceresses, along with many other pure elemental spellcasters. Wind Druid are extremely easy to kill, as are melee characters (good Chargadins are effective). High level Trapsins are nearly impossible to kill once the traps are down, and of course, other Bonemancers. Thus, I will list below the builds that can effectively kill a lv35 (in this case lv36) Necromancer,
What can give a Bonemancer (lv35 especially) a hard time:
Considering the levels are about equal; Enigma characters can take one down fairly easily, but IMO, Enigma is what ruined HLDing for me.
Pure Elemental Sorceresses with Teleport
Good Chargadin
Shock Zealot
Higher-Level Bonemancer
Fist of the Heavens
Good LF Amazon
GAzon
Trapsin
Good MA Assassin w/DF
To sum it all up, the character must be able to bypass the Necromancer's Bone Prisons and/or Walls or attack from a distance. In the case of a Chargadin/Shocker, Charge will be fast enough for you to evade the BSs and hit the Necromancer directly. For spellcasters, a barrage of spells will bring down the opponent.
You must take notice of the "Good" in front of a character build. You will need much more experience with that build in order to kill a lv35 Necromancer of this build; it's not an automatic kill.
Hope this all helps... And good luck.[/i]
